Down the Hatch #7

Perhaps I'm becoming more demanding of my adult productions these days, or perhaps I've just been spoiled by watching so many superior gonzo flicks from Red Light District, but I was really disappointed with Diabolic's Down The Hatch #7.

For starters, with a few notable exceptions, the women in this film are not exactly the most attractive I have seen in adult film. But my biggest problem came when a girl named Majella not only failed to turn me on...but totally turned me off during her scene. But more about that later...

The disc starts out with Catalina, a not-too-shabby looking young girl whom I'm sure many viewers will recognize from some of her other adult appearances. She gives blowjobs to a number of guys, and then tries each one of them out before swallowing their loads. The scene takes place in what looks like a warehouse (or at least a construction area), so it isn't the most attractive of locales. There's nothing outstanding about Catalina's segment (she also returns later in the DVD for a blowjob-only piece), but there's nothing terribly wrong with it either.

Next up is Judy Star, a blonde who has a blowjob-only sequence first, and then comes back later for some full-blown sex. I've seen Judy before in a Red Light District DVD, and I didn't enjoy watching her any more here than I did there. Upon first glance, Judy seems kind of cute, but it's her mood during sex that is the real turn off. She gets this "crazy" look in her eye that will make you wonder if she is going to suck your cock or chop it off. It's kind of hard to explain...but you'll see what I mean.

One of the good scenes comes when Monica Sweetheart makes an appearance. If you've ever seen Monica before, you already know that any scene with her in it is almost a guaranteed hard-on for the viewer. This girl is cute! Monica, of course, is one of those Eastern European gals - which means she isn't shy about cum swallowing or any of those other things that American pornstars sometimes shy away from. If there's one good reason to add Down The Hatch #7 to your collection, Monica's segment may be it.

If you haven't already shot your load after watching Monica, I don't think the next segment featuring Majella is going to solve your problem. For starters, Majella isn't a very attractive girl, and easily the least appealing woman on this DVD. But that's not even what grossed me out. What caused me to quickly search for the fast-forward button on my remote was the fact that while Majella is involved in a threesome with Vince Voyeur and Lexington Steele (with Vince getting a blowjob while Lex fucks her in the standing doggy style position), Majella decides to release some bodily fluids while Lex is screwing her! Pretty gross for the viewer to watch...but just think what Lex thought about it! I hope he got paid a little extra for that scene! Yuck!

Things do take a turn for the better with Sharon, the cute woman featured on the box cover who kind of reminds me of a young Ashlyn Gere (at least in looks). Jewel DeNyle fans will also be happy with the final scene which pairs Jewel up with Lexington Steele and (I think) Jon Dough for action that includes a double penetration. The problem here, though, is that I've seen Jewel in better action elsewhere, and this scene is probably only recommended for her die-hard fans.

While the audio and video are above average, the bonus features are pretty week, offering only a "cumshot re-cap", a slide show and trailers on the B-side of the disc - in other words, the same thing we have been getting from Diabolic DVDs pretty much since they first came on the market.

With so many other outstanding volumes of Down The Hatch available, this one comes only recommended to those who must own every one in the series, or fans of Monica Sweetheart who just can't resist owning every scene this sexy blonde appears in.

Jewel and Monica have both been in some great DVDs, but their performances in DTH #7 are just outstanding.

Monica's scene can be seen in Chapter 3 and it is a damn good one, and after Monica, Majella does a great scene with Lex and Erik.

Mike John (the director) saves the best for last and has Jewel De'Nyle partner up with her buddy Lex. Down The Hatch #7 is just great hardcore sex with tons of cum swallowing. Hardcore buffs will love this DVD.
