Beyond these considerations, the video and sound of the disc are of high quality. No pixelation is noticable and the sound levels do not jump all over the board.

The DVD's features include a chapter selection, including the Cumshot recap option that allows the viewer to cut straight to each cum shot in succession. The photo gallery includes stills from the production. Side B of the disc includes previews for 13 other Anabolic titles, including Butt Banged Hitch-Hiking Whores, Initiations, and out of the Anabolic staple Assman series, Assman 11.

Anal Ski Vacation holds the distinct honor of being Mark Davis' first movie. Mark looks much younger here, and with much more hair than he has been sporting in recent years. It's easy to see why when he first game into the business so many people referred to him as "porn's answer to James Bond".

He gets the first scene here, one with Shawnee Cates in which he takes her on top of a Jeep on soundstages made up to look like they are outside in the wintertime. However, they don't try to pretend that the location is anything but a set, as we see the cameramen setting up for the shot and watch the director prep the actors for the action. Of course, the key word in this Anabolic title is "anal", so there's backdoor penetration in every scene. Here, Mark enters Shawnee's ass in the doggy position, and winds up cumming on it as well in a slow-motion shot.

Next up is Celeste with Woody Long. This is an average scene, that has Woody sliding his...umm "woody"...into Celeste's behind in the doggy position after loosening her up first with his finger.

The video and audio quality on this DVD are only average, but considering Anabolic's track record of providing fairly good transfers, I'm guessing they did the best job they could with the source material that was available. Where Anabolic (and it's sister company Diabolic, for that matter) is really starting to lag behind is in the area of bonus features. Here, we get only a slide show, a cumshot recap and some previews on the "B" side of the disc. There's also the typical chapter selection and website information.

Although all the scenes contain anal, and the final scene contains a double penetration, this is a surprisingly tame DVD by Anabolic standards. It's not quite couples material, but it's the closest your going to find from an Anabolic title, and it may ultimately disappoint those who expect more hardcore action from this company. However, for those of you looking to sample your first all-anal movie, but don't want something too hardcore and raunchy, Anal Ski Vacation may be the perfect DVD for you.
