Naomi ... There's Only One

NAOMI (...THERE'S ONLY ONE) is an inaugural event for this 5' 7", bronze-skinned beauty. According to my excruciatingly detailed and exhaustive research, she has been in adult since 2005, but is now being spotlighted in her own self-titled video by esteemed director John Leslie. If anyone can make Naomi a superstar, surely this man can. Ever since he began making features, Mr. Leslie has cultivated young budding talents into blue cinema legends. Now Naomi is, by any standards, an excellent performer, she isn't necessarily an exceptional one. In other words, though she allows entry into her backdoor, she's not an anal queen on the level of, say, Taylor Rain. And while she sucks cock expertly, she isn't as gifted an oralist as for instance, Lauren Phoenix. Certainly, reasonable minds may differ, and in no way am I personally complaining about Naomi's onscreen conduct. It's just that given her grandiose presentation on this nearly three hour DVD (including approximately thirty minutes extra footage), I expected someone amazingly spectacular. Instead, I got something merely very damn good.

Make no mistake about the main attraction herself: Naomi is hot, and unless you only prefer very petite chicks with skinny limbs, I can't think of any red-blooded American not feeling a stir in his pants after watching this Czech-Israeli-bred (but apparently born in Louisiana) babe in action. She has more curves than a cosine wave registering on an oscilloscope, and her generally sultry pout and mane of wild, dark hair makes her the ideal wet dream fuck doll. Obviously, she has a very meaty, beaty, big and bouncy ass, which is on ideal display on the front cover. If you like big butts and you cannot lie, because you other brothers can't deny, then watching Naomi will probably be a feast for the eyes. Director Leslie gives us long, detailed shots of her figure, usually wrapped in a tight outfit as she struts in high heels outdoors. Clearly, the esteemed pornographer is infatuated with his starring actress, and if very healthy brunettes are your type, then so will you.

As one might have guessed, Naomi appears in all six scenes, beginning with an extended masturbation scene, and continuing with a one-on-one anal scene with the very lucky James Deen. Not one to dominate the spotlight, Naomi is also joined by other female talent Marie Luv (a slender African-American hottie) for a foursome with Erik Everhard and Sascha, as well as Mysti May (an All-American looking blonde who also goes by the spelling "Misty") who aids and abets Mark Davis in getting his taste of Naomi. Mysti seems a bit underused in her scene, but Marie Luv stands out in hers. Director Leslie makes good use of outdoor, point of view camera shots which doesn't always give us everything we want to see when Mr. Deen approaches her, but it's effective in building up tension. Now I know that there are many fans and critics who find John Leslie's videos a bit too much methodical and pretentious, and are frustrated by the oftentimes deliberately obscure videography and the general pacing of his scenes. However, this has been his style since blockbuster '80's titles like CURSE OF THE CATWOMAN and BAD HABITS put his name at the top of "A" list feature directors, and I find it refreshing to see someone put a little mood and atmosphere into the vignette-based gonzo porn.

Generally, video and audio quality is generally excellent; any complaints in the composition or problems with the visuals are more than likely the result of Leslie's style rather than technical incompetence. Bonus features are notable for the aforementioned bonus footage, along with a cumshot recap, trailers and biographical information of the director himself. A little more biographical information of Naomi herself would have been nice, but I suppose that once you've seen her in hardcore action, there's not much more to say.
