Bludreams

A lot of Red Ezra's movies feature incredibly high production values, amazing budgets, and some truly unique sex scenes. So I guess Bludreams is a break from the norm from him. No big budgets, no non-sex roles, no serious plots, no nothing but 16 scenes of 16 different girls enjoying themselves, and nothing else. But hey, I'm not complaining.

Ezra's standout direction is even more evident in Bludreams because he can really take his time with each scene. The lighting and sets are consistently perfect and Ezra spices up each scene with plenty of different angels, slow motions shots and more to keep things fresh, after all, 16 scenes of nonstop pussy-pampering could get old if it's not done right...well probably not, but it's nice to see some effort put forth.

The first fives scenes stick to the same formula. Each girl begins with a nice, slow tease, occasionally rubbing herself under her panties or shorts until the throws caution (and her panties) to the wind and cleaves her beaver for a while before eventually turning to a dildo or vibrator to finish the job.

Allysin Chaynes and Domino kick things off with a bang, as each deliver some crazy horned-out beaver pounding and self-fucking to the point of complete exhaustion. Lonnie Waters' (the best Christina Aguilera porn-star look-a-like since...Christina Aguilera) seductive session is hot too, and her slow-working of a glass dildo into her snatch is a nice change of pace to the early frantic scenes.

Things get a bit crazier as the movie goes on, with Bella Starr finishing off her self-lovefest with some quick anal play. It's pretty tame, with most of it in the shadows, but from there things really pick up, with Monique Alexander and Destiny St. Clair spending most of their scenes exploring their backdoors.

Sometimes Ezra's originality does get the best of him however as needless high-concept settings ruin some scenes. Gynecologist offices are not erotic, never have been, and never will be, so why Sharon Wild is fingering herself while in the stirrups is beyond me. Also the cold steel tools she uses to probe her pussy and asshole look far too much like some bizarre medical equipment to be remotely arousing. Dominica Leoni's scene is even sicker; starting out as a corpse (complete with toe tag) in a morgue, Leoni magically comes back to life for one last session of self-love. No matter how hot Leoni is, I couldn't get over the fact that I was watching what appears to be a dead person masturbate. And if that is your cup of tea (and if it is...dude, what's wrong with you?) then you probably aren't looking for it on a major studio release.

Unfortunately, extras are nearly non-existent. Trailers for some other Metro titles and "photo" slide show (AKA, poor quality stills from the film) are all you get. The scene selection is also a let-down. Even though this is an all-masturbation feature, chapter stops in each scene should be included, not just one for the beginning of each.

There may be a couple weak/weird scenes towards the end of the movie, and the features may be lacking, but the self-attention these girls give themselves is so hot that I'm willing to look over these slight faults. Fans of masturbation titles will be in their own lubricated heaven.
