1st Strike has been putting out titles for about a year now, but this is the first chance I've had to take a look at one. Hopefully by now they've pushed beyond that "growing pains" phase all production companies seem to go through. So let's see what they've got going on here.

The DVD menu design is strictly utilitarian, but allows easy access of the scenes and extras. Speaking of extras, there isn't a tone of stuff offered. The BTS featurette is the most hefty option, running 17 minutes and featuring some interviews, photo shoot footage, as well as some on-set hardcore. Other extras include a slide show and 10 trailers.

Given the seemingly limitless volumes of high quality anal titles out there, it's hard to give Fresh Asses 2 an enthusiastic recommendation. It does a lot of things right, but feels pretty mediocre in the long run. While the performances were good, none of them were really outstanding. In all, it just felt a bit routine for my taste. That doesn't mean I've given up on 1st Strike. This title had potential, so I'm eager to see more.
