Finally, in "Bonus" you can access another several video clips.

The video quality is good. The scenes are well-lit and either it was shot on film or with high-quality video cameras for 1985. The audio never intrudes, which is about all you need. As usual for Wave, the extras are overwhelming. If you don't have a Wave or Vivid title yet, you certainly should get one! Most of the clips are repeated from disc to disc, though.

This movie is somewhat of a classic, and has some hot scenes in it. The editing sometimes interferes with what they got on film, though, so you might find it distracting. Certainly a must-buy for fans of Ginger, and a fun video for anyone who likes to see natural, pretty blondes going at it.

Unlike other Vivid/Wave DVD titles, this video does not appear to suffer from any serious edits in the transfer to the digital medium. Although I prefer Ginger's earlier appearances before she became one of the first Vivid Girls, I never tire of seeing her in any scene, as she can make even the most mundane video absolutely worth watching. Even with all the Jenna Jamesons, Janines, and other blonde bombshells that have made their mark in porn, Ginger stands head and shoulders above them all. Side two has the full preview package, out takes and the MTV pieces on the current Vivid Girls. Once they work the kinks out of the bonus material (Making it easier to get around and including full bonus scenes instead of just snippets) then this will be as good as any bonus package on the market. With Ginger Lynn making her long awaited return to the blue screen this month, it seems that the folks at Vivid had the same idea I did. Now is the perfect time to go back and take a look at some of her greatest moments before the retirement. When it comes to picking the very best Ginger Lynn title ever, they couldn't have done much better than this particular movie. With a cast that reads like a roster of hall of fame performers, a master director and a story created by Ginger and penned by Michael Cates, 'Ginger on the Rocks' has long been one of my favorite adult films of all time. It shows Ginger at her physical and sexual best and brings us a young Christy Canyon, Amber Lynn and the underused hottie Nicole West as well.
