Private Life of Liz Honey, The

I don't know whether to be grateful or frustrated by the fact that there are so many women coming and cumming, then going in this little business we call porn. Why, when I was a newbie during the post-DEEP THROAT age of adult, there were usually a handful of performers who literally spread their talents over a handful of productions over any particular year. Some of these actresses were hot (Annette Haven, Ginger Lynn, Leslie Bovee, and Tamara Longeley just to name a few), while some of these girls were less so. With the advent of video in the eighties, hundreds of titles were being churned out on shoestring budgets with more actresses, but no so many that you couldn't keep track of them. Now, with all the foreign imports, pro-amateur titles, and up and coming Jenna Jameson-wannabes making their way into gonzo, it's nearly impossible to keep an up-to-date roll call on the current talent.

And that's probably the reason why I can't recall ever watching anything with Liz Honey in it. Surely I would have recognized her: those perky breasts, shapely legs and sultry visage certainly satisfy my requirements for good time. So, I'm grateful for the chance of seeing a collection of her scenes on this well-made and well-produced Private compilation. I've had the opportunity to review several different volumes of THE PRIVATE LIFE ON... and never once did I find them to be anything less than excellent. That's not to say that every excerpted scene from every movie hits a home run, and of course your interest in these "greatest hits" titles will depend heavily on your attraction to the star. But predictably, this edition meets up to studio standards. Spread out over two discs, we get twelve vignettes from a variety of titles, including one "exclusive scene" created for this collection. Preceding each scene in a minute or two of (overdubbed) commentary from Miss Honey, who looks like she's having fun discussing a particular sex act, partner or scene, and is even candid about what she likes ("small cocks!" she claims with almost convincing enthusiasm. Yeah, right.) and dislikes.

Disc One dishes out seven scenes from THE CULT (with Jon Axe and Ricky, along with Bambi, Bianca); WET DREAMS (with Vera and Ricky); CUM ON MY FACE I (Jo Taylor); FASHION IN PARADISE (James Brossman and Kevin Long); EUROBABES: TAKE IT TO THE EXTREME (Susanne Brend and David Perry); CUM ON MY FACE 2 (Susanne Brend and Roly Reeves); A TASTE OF PLEASURE (Nick Lang). Disc Two gives viewers all the bonus material such studio information, a Girls Profiles which basically list Private titles for female talent like Bianca, the incredibly attractive Gilda Roberts, and Katy Caro among others, along with the remaining five scenes: FUCK YOUR NEIGHBOR (James Brossman); MATA-HARI (Katy Caro and Frank Major); ADDICTION (Gilda Roberts and Choky Ice); PORN WARS (Niky Rider and The Drifter); and finally, the exclusive scene co-starring Jorge and Toni Ribas, who takes double duty of directing as well as fucking.

Predictably, the "exclusive scene" is what interested me the most, mainly because Liz gives a heartier, gonzo-style effort here than in the featured titles. She shows off her body to maximum effect for a good few minutes before taking on each guy one-on-one and then jointly, for an all-out anal and double penetration good time. The action goes on for a good twenty minutes, although there are some strange hard edits, which make the action seem a bit choppy. Further, the videography is technically inconsistent during certain moments, particularly the end where the picture looks washed out during her dual facial.

Other standout moments include the scene from PORN WARS, where Niky Rider almost steals the show thanks to her hands-free, deep throating on this pretentiously named Drifter guy. The scene ends with him splooging on Liz's back, but Darling Niky is there to lick some of it up. ADDICTION features some sensational (but brief) dueling blowjobs with Gilda, and the camera work gives us plenty of full-body shots. The shared oral cumshot is captured is also good, although the jump cuts and slow motion sequences are a distraction.

Naturally, I prefer scenes with more female participants, which is why her work from WET DREAMS (where she swaps cum with Vera, another very popular European slattern) and EUROBABES (in which she is paired with Susanne) draw high marks from me. However, and despite the otherwise well-performed sex, I didn't care for Liz's threesome from THE CULT. The unsightly blue headgear she wears throughout, and the lack of any physical contact with Bambi and Bianca (who seem perfectly content sticking a purple dildo in each others asses) make this opener to Disc One a disappointment.

Again, as with almost all Private titles, the action is always hardcore and is performed to technical perfection. Sure, some of the conduct can seem a little too proficient at times, but no one could possibly fault the production. I have to admit that this compilation didn't necessarily make me a life-long, forever-devoted fan of Miss Honey. Her looks and skills are about average when it comes to European girls (which is to say, that she's still pretty damn hot in terms of looks and performance). I've seen better porn, but when it comes to star-featured "best of" collections, I've rarely seen any title exceed what you get from Private.
