Stacy Valentine stars as Samantha Armstrong, a sexually deprived housewife of Beverly Hills married to a rich doctor in Red Vibe Diaries. When her husband, John, too focused on his work, fails to satisfy Samantha's sexual desires, her friend introduces her to an exclusive "club" where her wildest fantasies become true. I must admit, upon purchasing this film, I was oblivious to the fact that it was directed by James Avalon. However, when I saw his name appear in the opening credits, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Anyone who is familiar with James Avalon's work knows it does not disappoint. The storyline was quite entertaining, and every scene blended into the film perfectly. The lighting was great, and the usage of special color effects added to the film. I will also add that the sound was great for a film 1997, and that none of the scenes let the viewer down. I have noticed that the film has been discontinued once again, and feel lucky I was able to grab a copy before it was discontinued. I only wish I was as lucky to add parts 2 & 3 to my collection!
Anyways, if this film is every available again, I highly recommend picking up a copy. It truly is a work of art.

A classy film. Not the average run-of-the-mill porno. This film is erotic, with excellent direction and beautiful women. My only criticism would be that at times I thought it was a little slow (I'm hard to please, eh!). Nevertheless, both myself and my wife enjoyed watching it. A must for couples!

Stacy Valentine is scrumpt-dilly-umptious in this film, which also features Misty Rain, who is a favorite of mine. Shot on film, the movie looks great as almost all Metro DVDs do. The only complaint I have is that that Chapter Menu does not seem to work. Instead of letting me skip ahead to certain scenes in the movie, I was always taken back to the beginning of the Chapter One. Two other exchanged discs also revealed this flaw. Oh, well.

From lavish adult spectacles do mighty DVD's grow. So, as one might expect, director James Avalon's take on high-level seduction and sexual awakening responds magnificently to the digital medium, complete with a pulsating sound quality that goes straight to the brain.

The VHS version speaks for itself, of course, but this rendition is a whole new audio/visual ball of wax. Watch and listen as music and picture work like a polished vaudeville dance team to summon an internal eloquence rarely achieved in adult filmmaking. And, on top of that, thanks to clarity-rich visuals, art director Anthony Crane's glistening touches and nuances come to full-score realization. With black lights, spastic dream sequences and more than a touch of showboat, Red Vibe Diaries' antic sexual choreography is just the ticket for DVD.

As a frustrated Beverly Hills housewife on the prowl, Stacie Valentine has never looked more beautiful, though some of the story's inherent banalities will have you running to your collection of Jackie Collins paperbacks for creature comfort.

Though Red Vibe Diaries delivers as much as one can expect from a contemporary adult film, the paucity of all those menu goodies and extras (a treatise on the NASDAQ status of Metro Global Media, Inc. in not exactly what the man had in mind as far as entertainment) lands you nearly at square one in the DVD evolutionary scale. But, as erotic films go, even Darwin would give this version of Red Vibe Diaries a thumbs-up.

Red Vibe Diaries is a high class adult film that was ideal for DVD. Every aspect of the film is professional including the sound, acting, story, editing, music, cast, and the sex. It is good to see another studio (besides Vivid) making the best out of the DVD format. There are also many extra features including cast biographies, photo gallery, trailers, and full motion scene choosers.

The story consists of a wife (Stacy) who is distraught because her husband (Tony Tedeschi) works all the time. She then decides wants to be naughty and have some fun without him. This is where Misty Rain walks in....

Not only is the entire cast beautiful but the acting is surprisingly excellent. The best of both worlds. The sensuous Stacy Valentine stars in her leading role with a combination of hot masturbation scenes, lesbian scenes, and straight scenes.

The editing on this film was exceptional, I am glad they did not attempt to include multi-angles. The clarity on the close up scenes was extraordinary. The mixture of classical music with moaning during the sex scenes was unique.

Red Vibe Dairies show us how possible it is to produce an exceptional DVD without multi-angles.
