I expect great things from almost every DVD released under the Evil Angel banner (such as THE VOYEUR and the SERVICE ANIMAL videos). Sometimes, however, I have to settle for that which is merely pretty damn good, which just so happens to include ROOKIE PUSSY directed by Jake Malone. It's not a perfect piece of gonzo porn, but the lengthy sex scenes featuring eight newbies (well, at least I haven't seen them before) spread over two discs make this a "can't miss!" title for anyone who needs a visual aid for self-administered orgasms.

At first glance, dark-haired, olive-skinned Paulina James reminded me of classic adult star Annie Sprinkles, and if you have no idea who she is then, you probably were born long after the Reagan Revolution. Her supple ass and not-too-big, not-too-little chest are nicely exhibited thanks to her fishnet outfit and sheer, sky blue pants hugs her lower form perfectly. After teasing us outdoors, she approaches a reclining Michael Stefano, and of course, they go at in a sixty-nine position which progresses into a heated session of hard fucking. For a supposed rookie, lovely Miss James is especially skilled at reverse cowgirl banging, in which she doesn't miss a beat when they fall to the floor for some good ol' doggy-style screwing. The continue their sexcapades non-stop for over thirty minutes before he jacks off into her mouth, and she swallow his load completely and even manages to lap up a few spilled drops off her arm. Folks, this girl is sexy as hell, and it's no wonder that the director decided to let her kick off the introduction of ROOKIE PUSSY.

We get a change of scenery with Carmen Kinsley, a typically attractive blonde with an Avy Scott-ish demeanor and figure (though Carmen's tits are smaller and her ass bigger). She masturbates and strips on a couch, and then Manuel Ferrara gets his way with her, and like Paulina and Michael, the two hop around the house together assuming different positions, talking dirty and just generally having a good time. Though her ass is played with over and over again, she (like Paulina) doesn't open it up to any backdoor shenanigans, which I didn't miss, but others might. She isn't a swallower either, which is more disappointing to me but it's a issue given all the preceding action. What's great about Malone's camerawork is that we are allowed full body shots of the participants, rather than endless close-ups of clashing genitalia. For those who like their girls full-bodied, Carmen is right up your alley.

Kissy Kapri is a blue-eyed blonde who is just a wee-bit too hard-looking for my tastes, but gives the most hardcore performance of the flick in her threesome with the director and Benjamin Bratt. From the minute she enter the house in her white trash outfit and lip and tongue piercings, it's clear that his would be a rougher scene. She is ordered around to do Malone's bidding even before Mr. Bratt joins the party, and there's no doubt that Miss Kapri is convincing in her submission. Viewers impatient with the lack of anal will enjoy what she offers here in multiple positions (though no DP) and with considerable endurance. Again, however, the tattoos and piercings negatively affect what is undoubtedly a very nasty scene.

Another more visually appealing blonde in the form of Katarena appears next, and though her dark roots betray her natural hair color, this flexible sex kitten (she bends over while standing up and licks her boots from between her legs) is a natural sexhibitionist. Michael Stefano does the honors of ravishing her curvy body. While I could have done without the lactating shots (she milks her right boob on his tongue and then on the camera lens), their casual affair, which is highlighted by her sucking him, then getting fucked as she bends over like a pocket , is a great way to end disc one, and give the viewer time to juice up before moving on to "part two."

A close-up of covergirl Natasha's nice face highlights her beautiful blue eyes, then the camera pulls back to reveal her voluptuous figure which seems ready to burst out of her skimpy pink outfit. A hot brunette whose womanly assets might make her the next Taylor St. Clair, Natasha uses her mouth and cleavage to engulf lucky Manuel Ferrara on a couch, and the two just keep working on each other for nearly thirty minutes before he annoints her face with a blast of goo. Natasha scarcely has time to take a break when Mr. Ferrara's "friend" gets to stick his dick between her tits and in her mouth for a good ten minutes or so. He drains his hard on directly onto her tongue and down her throat, and she swallows almost effortlessly. It's a testament to Evil Angel's reputation that even a quickie scene like this can outdo so many other full-length gonzo videos.

Another threesome is served up with McKenzee Miles a blonde who at age 19 announces that "boredom with every day life" has led her to being a pornstar. (Just wait until she finds out what real boredom is like at age 30.) She shows off what she can do with a well-lubricated dildo for a few minutes before going down on Jake Malone and then John Strong. Much of the oral sex is hands-off and guided by the tight grip on Miss Miles' hair, but she doesn't seem to mind any of it. Despite her newbie status, it's very apparent that the girl has talent, and she handles the rougher side of both guys with aplomb. Strangely, the only thing she seems to be dead set against is the taste of cum, and she remains close-lipped and eyes shut tight after the dual facial.

Finally, Bobbi Star, Sarah Jane Ceylon and Manuel Ferrara offer up the only two girls on one guy scene in the movie's finale. Both women have a shamelessly slutty look and attitude, but blonde Bobbi Star's multiple tattoos are almost too much to look at. Luckily, the body ink doesn't detract too much from her performance, and whatever brunette Sarah Jane more than makes up for any visual problems. Miss Ceylon is an absolutely riveting performer, and one of the loudest girls I've ever heard this side of Teri Weigel. In fact, when she gets doggy fucked by Mr. Ferrara, one has to wonder if she's a bit too over the top. Nevertheless, I appreciate her aggressive methods, which includes swallowing Bobbi's tongue whole, and licking deep into the blondes' bunghole before its gets reamed by Manuel. As one might expect, Sarah Jane also does anal and swallows cum-swapped load as well as any grade-A performer working today. Just when I thought nothing would top Paulina James or Natasha's scene, it was a thrill to see a finale with this kind of raw energy and excitement. If for nothing else, this disc is worth getting for Sarah Jane Ceylon.

Bonus features for this great looking, and great sounding disc include a behind the scenes featurette which runs for a half-hour, around fifteen minutes of extra sex footage from Carmen's and Bobbi and Sarah Jane's scenes, a cumshot recap, and a photo gallery. Most of this stuff is typical of the majority of porn DVDs, but all of it is well-produced and enjoyable. I haven't seen many DVDs which merit a top score across the board, but it would be criminal not to give ROOKIE PUSSY all the credit it deserves.

This DVD was supposed to be new. It is not - both discs have small scratches, and the plastic shrinkwrap around the DVD did not look original - I have never seen one like it on an Evil Angel DVD before. The movie is very good (see the other review), but I am deducting two stars because of this.
