Pick Up Lines is perhaps one of the few consistently good porn series in the history of film. It is adequate enough to warrant a 72nd addition, but yet doesn't quite help the production company break on through. The format is a hit, most of the girls are absolute "stunners", but there's still something lacking.

The first selling point, and the one that should be enough, is the fact that Sunrise Adams stars in this one. That alone really should do it. The young "up and cummer" (precisely how much of a cliche is that by now?) deserves all of the accolades that she has garnered to date. The combination of innocent/cute, leering/naughty, an explosive body, and a desire to do almost anything drives just about every man to the edge. And it's an even better thought to consider all of the films she still has before her. She gets her very hot cunt lapped up poolside, following that up by a cocksucking adventure for the muscle-bound dude. But she has that innocent look in her eye as her tongue plays over the end of his cock. The fucking itself is decently average, with nothing to screw it up, but nothing to really set it apart, either. The facial at the end is well worth tuning in for, though, with this cute little blonde sporting a face that's a canvas for cum. The industry is very lucky to have this little starlet.

Vicca-like Sharone warms up the second scene. Great, long legs, a wonderfully curved ass... this girl is perfect. Again, the sex is a bit average, but there's nothing to ruin it, and as is customary for the series, the guy pops a load right on her lips for the finale. No complaints here, though some anal would have been an added bonus.

Bianca's scene was a bit of a letdown, seeing as there was more effort put into the production of the dual-framed opening to it than in the rest of the scene. It was far too short, the camera angles were much too close, and the result was only a sense of balance finally given by the time the cum started to fly. It could have been much better, and it makes me worry what the B-reel for this looked like.

Bamby is just an adorable little thing, and her body does everything we could hope it would. Extremely fit, she's having some car troubles. And, of course, some guy is going to come along and help. Sandy graces the last scene, and she's a bit too overdone. She could be quite cute, no doubt, but the level of makeup and the suspiciously over blonde hair make me think of somone that would be best off being one of Hef's identical cybernetic girlfriends than a porn star. But that's a different rant. She does a decent enough job getting fucked, taking an especially wicked facial, with the credits coming far too quickly. There was potential here, but the result was bland.

Full points for the bonus scene featuring Silvia Saint getting ass fucked. Always a winner.

72 volumes into the series, and they still don't quite seem to have the formula down. Successful, yes, but commercial victory is well ahead of artistic results.
