Sweet Young Thing

Unlike many other porn directors, you are always going to get something at least mildly entertaining in a Cash Markman title. Such is the case with Sweet Young Thing, which turns out to be rather mild in the sex department, but is a tour de for star Randy Spears.

Randy is hired by a man named Greer (played by Markman's favorite non-sex player, Frank Bukkwyd) to bodyguard his young daughter (Shay Sweet). Of course, Shay is a real sexual dynamo, and winds up really testing Randy's ability to keep up with her (and keep his dick in his pants) in this comedic adventure.

No sooner does Randy have the job then Shay has taken off in her car and headed off to a local "swinging" house. While Shay is somewhere inside, Randy has to do his best to get by the sex-hungry Alexandra Silk who wants Mr. Spears in the worse way. Randy finally makes it past her, only to be distracted by Trinity Max doing a guy in the upstairs bathroom.

Randy finally tracks down Shay outside by the pool, where she is in a rug munching contest with the young and petite Allysin Chaynes. Steve Austin is also near the pool, and when he sees what the girls are up to, he decides to walk over and see if Allysin likes guys as much as she does girls. So Steve gets a hummer while Shay stuffs Allysin from behind with a vibe. Allysin gets a nice facial...but she seems a little too determined to keep her mouth shut during it, which takes away from the fun of the climax.

Randy may not be giving in to Shay's tempting ways, but he isn't dead, either. He hires a hooker...err, excuse me...escort...to have fun with, and even tells her to "earn her money" when she goes down on him! Later in the film, Randy hires Allysin to dress up as a school girl for him, but instead of giving us what could have been the hottest sex scene in the movie, we only get teased and see no action whatsoever! Darn! (A close inspection of this scene will show the viewer that Randy's "payment" for Allysin appeared to be all of three or four bucks...which may be why there was no action!)

Randy doesn't get to have sex with Shay either...in fact, Shay doesn't take on any guys in this film. But we are left with the impression at the end of the movie that these two may be getting together real soon...so at least that's something!

This DVD doesn't offer much in the way of features. You get two trailers for other Cash Markman titles, a slide show, and the usual chapter selection and company information. The video is average for this title, but the audio is downright horrible. I found myself doubling my usual settings for my speakers, and the dialogue still was barely audible. While this isn't one of Cash's Markman's best titles, it's a shame that the company that primarily releases most of his movies can't take the time to make their DVDs a little more presentable.

If you're looking for a good comedy, and enjoy watching Randy Spears stretch his acting and comedic skills in a title, then this would be a good selection for your Adult DVD library. If you're just looking for the sex, you might want to find something else, but Sweet Young Thing is for those adult video watchers who want something light-hearted with moderate action that will hold up to repeat viewings.
