Stop! In the Name of Love!
Oh dear, I was afraid of this. I wanted to believe that this film would be done well, despite its being part of the industry's propensity to make ethnicity into a novelty. To be clear, I love black ladies, and that's why it's so saddening to see that this film falls victim to poor staging in addition to being a product of white ethnocentrism. Unlike other titles in the Sista series that are content to simply present the ladies of the business who are thick and unshaven for an average romp, Sista 24 gives us the special treat of thin ladies, who's hair, makeup, clothing and polish make them ideal for a Supreme lezzie paradise. The problem is, along with their sophisticated looks, the producers thought it would be a good idea to stage them with bondage gear, and have them roleplay in light s/m sessions. It makes no sense that pretty black ladies in fancy lingerie should be doing this just because they're pretty black ladies in fancy lingerie. It don't take too much IQ to see that this film is a joke - a pure novelty. Certain people may argue that BDSM is a perfectly healthy and exciting sexual experience, but all I have to say is Stop! In the name of Love! Lesbian erotica should be a glorious display of the most beautiful and slutty girls making passionate love to one another, and, most of it is just that. BDSM, however, is not love, and it's definitely NOT SEXY.
