Set in a club that makes Studio 54 look like a Sunday church group meeting, VIP 54 is filled to the brim with amazing sex scenes featuring some of the finest girls that Vivid has to offer. The plot, something about 'girl's night out' is a throwaway, but with great wall-to-wall sex filling the screen, do you really care?

Unlike some other studios that feature a starlet on the cover but then only stick her in one or two scenes, Vivid gives you what you pay for here with more Mercedez action than a car show room. The movie begins with Mercedez from the first frame, going at it with Evan Stone on her bed, sucking him off through his shorts before he whips it out, sliding it up and down on her tits while she continues to suck his dick. Then he returns the favor, going full-on into her pussy, sticking damn near half his tongue in her while she moans in her sexy, squeaky Betty Boop-esque voice. From there, things get even better as they 69 it for a while, with Evan continuing to tit-fuck her while she sucks him.

It takes them a good 15 minutes to finally fuck, and when they do they manage to keep things moving, mixing it up between cowgirl, sitting up and missionary before she strokes him off.

After all that I'm surprised that Mercedez has the energy to walk, let alone go out to the club, but she does, and arrives just in time to see Nicole Sheridan get on the couch with Voodoo and Julian, sucking cock like she's been in the desert for a week and they're the only source of water. Going back and forth between both guys as one eats her out or fucks her while she sucks the other one, this is a great threesome scene, made even better by the scores of extras that just sit there and watch them have sex, looking genuinely surprised and turned-on. Chi Chi proves once again that he knows what he's doing behind the camera, giving us plenty of interesting camera angles and even some good reaction shots of the crowd while Nicole goes to work on the two massive members.

Mercedez gets bored of this show however and decides to have a little fun of her own in the bathroom with Devon Michaels. Starting out like your typical girl/girl scene, with plenty of kissing and clit-licking, things pick up big time when Devon pulls out two vibrators to satisfy both her and Mercedez. Taking turns playing with the toys on their own, they finish the scene by handling each other's love-toys, making each other scream in delight. Hands down one of the best girl/girl scenes I've scene in a feature so far this year.

Unfortunately, this scene is relatively short, as the action cuts to Kelli Tyler, who decided not to go out, spending some quality time at home with Nick Jacobs instead. This scene was definitely made with the ladies in mind, consisting primarily of Kelli getting extensive oral attention from Nick before he even takes his shorts off. Most of the sex itself is fairly vanilla too, just missionary with plenty of kissing. It's only fair that the girls in the audience get something after Mercedez's lesbian scene, but it really didn't do anything for me.

The finale, however, has something for everyone, as Mercedez returns to the dance floor to spend some time with her favorite bartender Jean Val Jean. Equal parts passionate love-making and full-throttle hard fucking, this is one of the few times where the final sex scene in the movie actually surpasses everything before it; a considerable feat considering how damn good the previous scenes were. As Mercedez rides Jean's massive cock on the couch, Chi Chi knows what to do behind the camera, giving us plenty of great close-up penetration shots, but still pulling back on occasion to see both these stars in all their glory.

Like nearly every other Vivid DVD, this one is packed with extras, including some great bonus scenes and a behind-the-scenes featurette. The chapter selection is above average too, giving separate menus to scene selection and position selection, for plenty of options. The only downside is the picture itself, which is a bit grainy. Also, despite his usual spot-on direction, Chi Chi seems to have a hard time keeping the camera in focus for a few of the scenes. Maybe they even turned him on a bit too much!

Those are just complaints though, with four beautiful girls in five great scenes on a DVD packed with extras that your girlfriend could enjoy. It doesn't get much better than this.
