Glamazon

Director Chi Chi LaRue is back again with Glamazon, an above-average all-sex feature with one of the stupidest names I've seen in a long time, not just because I don't know what the heck a "Glamazon" is supposed to be, but because it doesn't have a damn thing to do with anything in the movie.

Each scene begins the same way, with Tawny reminiscing about the Golden Era of Hollywood, and how certain things it really turn her on. Obviously written as filler to bridge totally unrelated scenes together, these little preludes are pointless, and probably aren't even worth watching the first time around. Of course, introspective speeches about the nature of film isn't what you're looking for in an adult title, what you're looking for is great sex, and Glamazon really delivers when it comes to that.

Tawny starts things off with Tommy Gunn, getting fingered and eaten out in a movie theater, eventually sucking him off before they fuck on the seats in missionary and reverse cowgirl. Chi Chi's direction is far better than his previous outing, the substandard V.I.P. 54 with fairly steady camera work and good angle choices throughout. For the first scene of the movie, his one is incredibly hot, probably the best or second best in the entire film.

Things quickly get more intense and freaky with the second scene when Katie Morgan and Melissa Lauren drop in on Mick Blue and Manuel Ferrara for a quick backstage foursome. Foursome scenes usually aren't that great because there's so much going on at one time and the director doesn't know what to concentrate on. Chi Chi knows what he's doing here, however, putting us right in the middle of the action, constantly switching between pairs to give us as much as we can get. The only thing holding this amazing scene back is that the girls sound like seals drowning in oatmeal as they take the massive members of their costars in their mouths. I don't know what they are doing in order to make that noise, but they should stop it...now. But hell, if it bothers you - hit the mute button, because the action is more than hot enough to make up for it, with a quick DP and some incredibly fast-paced thrusting thrown in as well.

Monique Alexander and Marco Duato are up next, and while their scene is fine, it just pails in comparison to what comes up next, an amazing threesome with Katie Morgan, TJ Hart and Jack Lawrence, set in a 1960s Go-Go Dancer bar. With wild music, crazy editing, and non-stop intense fucking so frantic that Jack Lawrence probably needed ice on his crotch after it was all over, this is one of the best girl/girl/guy scenes I've seen in an all-sex feature in months.

Tawny returns for the final scene, a quick dressing room romp Eric Masterson. Aptly directed and performed, it's just a let down after the amazing scene that precedes it. Just watch it first, and you'll probably like it fine.

Like every other Vivid DVD, this one is packed with extras, including some awesome bonus scenes, and a pretty hysterical behind-the-scenes featurette that showcases Chi Chi's unique directing style (nonstop yelling and screaming in a voice that is disturbingly like Richard Simmons') and a couple galleries.

The disc is flawless from a technical view as well, the picture and audio are perfect, and the chapter stops are plentiful, so if you have the option to skip to your favorite part of your favorite scene, menus are also available by startlet and by position, so you have plenty of options, which is always nice.

The title may not make a lick of sense, but there's plenty licks (and sucks and fucks) to make up for it. Check it out.
