Jenna Loves Pain

Jenna Jameson stars in her first-ever full-blown bondage title in Jenna Loves Pain, a movie that should not only please fans of the genre, but also introduce many newcomers to a popular growing fetish in the adult world. Jenna has turned over the directorial reigns of her latest movie to Ernest Greene, who is one of the more prolific directors of bondage titles out there, so the result is a pretty decent flick.

This is an all-girl movie, meaning those looking for boy/girl action have come to the wrong place. Those unfamiliar with how bondage works in porn should also be aware of the ground rules going in...namely that rough sex and bondage are almost never shown on camera together because it's considered an industry no-no due to possible obscenity problems such a film might have with the federal government. That being said, Jenna Loves Pain takes the action about as far as is permitted, with some nice oral and vibrator play intertwined with scenes of spanking, tying-up and a touch of verbal humiliation.

There are only four scenes in the movie, three of them with Jenna, and one with adult legend Nina Hartley - who just happens to be the real-life wife of director Greene. First up is a scene with Jenna and Fujiko Kano, where Jenna is in the dominant role, while Fujiko is her tied-up submissive. Included in the encounter are Jenna putting Fujiko over her knee to spank her with a hairbrush; moments where Jenna whips Fujiko with a cat-o-nine-tails; and some oral with Fujiko tied to a table and Jenna lowering her pussy onto Fujiko's face.

Nina's scene is next, as she plays the "dom" over a submissive Amber Michaels. Nina opens the segment by teasing Amber with a riding crop, then plays with Amber's pussy with her fingers while she sits on Amber's face. Later in the scene, Nina whips her with a cat-o-nine-tails and puts small suction devices Amber's nipples and onto her pussy. She also puts some clothespins on Amber's pussy and teases her with a silver vibe.

Scene Three has Jenna Jameson in a submissive role with Dru Berrymore using a large black massage device on her and whipping her with a cat-o-nine-tails. There's a nice moment where Jenna is strapped to the table and Dru is fucking her with a strap-on...but (once again, namely due to those "rules" I talked about above) we really don't get to see any good angles of the penetration, although the viewer can clearly see it's happening.

The last scene has Ava Vincent chained and wearing a blue latex corset, while dark-haired Emily Marilyn whips and teases her. She also performs a bit of oral on Ava, and then gets her into a horizontal position where she teases Ava with a riding crop and a vibrator. Jenna then shows up and joins Emily in the seduction of Ava. Ms. Vincent has clothespins put on her nipples and pussy by Emily, while Jenna teases Ava's snatch with a vibrator.

Despite what's listed on the back of the box, the bonus material does not have a commentary track with Jenna, although it does have one with Director Ernest Greene. There's also two more audio options that give you the choice of listening to a dialogue-heavy track or a music-heavy one. And of course, there's the regular track with an even mix between the "moans and groans" and the musical soundtrack. All four of these audio tracks have been mastered in 5.1 Dolby.

Other extras include a nice 68-minute "Documentary" with Ernest Greene, which is essentially a question and answer segment where he tells the home viewer all about the bondage lifestyle. There's even some "beginner lessons" for newbies out there - as Ernest brings out his wife, Nina Hartley, for a demonstration. Also included on the DVD is a 12-minute behind the scenes featurette; the trailer for Jenna Loves Pain; a striptease segment with Jenna; and a slide show.

The DVD's bonus section also contains a number of advertisements for the Club Jenna website, an erectile enhancement product, and a phone chat line featuring Jenna. I didn't have a problem with the ads being on the DVD, but I did have a problem with the fact that these three ads are also front-loaded onto the movie - and you can't skip past them or even fast-forward through them.

I have to admit, I wasn't particularly looking forward to this movie, but Jenna has done a pretty good job here. I've seen a number of titles in the bondage genre, and Jenna Loves Paincertainly ranks as one of the better ones. So regardless of whether you're new to the lifestyle or an old pro, this DVD is worth taking a look at.
