I Dream of Jenna

In Jenna's last major release, Briana Loves Jenna, Ms. Jameson gave us a title that was filled with sensual imagery and beautifully-shot sexual action. This time around, Jenna seems to just want to have some fun, and I Dream Of Jenna is a light-hearted and humorous title where it's obvious that all the performers were just out to have a good time.

The movie is based (loosely) on the old television series I Dream of Jeanie, and the movie opens in much the same way that the series did, with astronaut Steven St. Croix stranded on a beach after his spaceship lands...where he discovers a magic bottle with a nice surprise inside.

After some cute opening credits, the movie jumps ahead in time a few years. Jenna has been Steven's magical servant for a few years, and Steven is off with Air buddy Randy Spears to help as technical advisors on a new science fiction film in Hollywood. Jenna doesn't want to be left alone, so she conjures up her sister (Nikita Denise) to help keep her company. So while Steven and Randy are off to Hollywood, Jenna and Nikita have Vivid Girl Autumn appear so they can have a lesbian threesome.

Meanwhile, on the Hollywood set, Steven and Randy have found some fun of their own, as they team up with Karianna and Inari Vachs. But Jenna soon arrives on the set, taking the place of director of the movie, and making sure everyone gets involved in some sexual fun. In the film's best scenes, Steven finds himself getting a blowjob from Jewel DeNyle, who also has a very hot lesbian teaming with Jenna once she has finished Steven off.

Frustrated by Jenna's appearance on the set, Steven decides that he must get Jenna back in her genie bottle, and manages to trick her back inside. Once inside, however, Jenna finds (real-life fiancée) Justin Sterling, and the two engage in Jenna's only boy-girl scene in the film. The good news is that this extended scene actually contains two cumshots. The first is a nice facial, and the second is on Jenna's ass, which Justin leans down to lick up...and then kisses Jenna to move some of the cum onto her lips.

Perhaps the nicest surprise on the I Dream of Jenna DVD is the work that went into the menus. They're animated, and they feature a dancing cartoon version of Jenna on the beach. It was fun just to browse the menu and watch all the little mini-cartoons that the authors of the DVD came up with. I Dream of Jenna comes with a second DVD, which is full of bonus material, most of which are solo-masturbation sequences with various members of the cast...including a pair of scenes with Jenna. There's also a behind the scenes look at the pre-production of the film (we get to see Jenna go out in search for items for the movie), a bloopers reel (the same bloopers appear on the end credits of the film) and a number of photo galleries. The main disc also features a commentary track from Jenna and Justin, plus one of the cooler options I've seen for the audio: the ability to play the movie with the dialogue being emphasized or with the soundtrack being emphasized.

I Dream of Jenna probably won't be remembered as Jenna's greatest adult film, but it may be remembered as the one that was the most fun to watch. All of the cast seems to enjoy what they are doing in the film, and that energy transfers nicely to the final product. Jenna fans should be more than happy with what they get in I Dream Of Jenna.

This movie is great. Some of the acting and lines aren't the best, but then again what do you expect. Jenna does another amazing job in her scenes, my favorite being her scene with Jewel De'Nyle. Jenna's scenes are the best in the movie, but that doesn't take away from the other actors performances. The overall film sound and video were great in my estimation. I did however score the features a 4. There are behind the scenes and blooper segments, which are good. Plus, the bonus masturbation scenes were hot, too. I was disappointed in the lack of trailers for other Vivid titles, or even a sneek peek at another Club Jenna production. Overall, though, this DVD is a must have.

Don't allow the previous reviewer to scare you off... I am not sure which scene he is referring to because there are three seperate sex scenes with Jenna, and one of them just won the AVN award for Best All Girl Scene. All the sex is hot and the story is campy and fun! Jenna and Justin provide an entertaining commentary track for the film and there is a full second disc of extras! This is the second release from Club Jenna productions and if you are a Jenna fan, it is definitely worth your time!

Jenna's scene is the only worthy scene on this DVD. There are some cool extra features, but I would suggest getting My Plaything 1 and 2: Jenna Jameson from New Sensations if you need a Jenna fix. This DVD is very poor.
