Collision Course

Now that Tera Patrick is both a Vivid Girl and willing to do other girls on-screen, it sets up a number of potential scenarios for her upcoming movies. In her first-ever Vivid release (Tera, Tera, Tera), Ms. Patrick teamed up with Savanna Samson. Now in Collision Course, Tera does her first scenes with busty blonde Briana Banks.

Directed by Skeeter Kerkove (in what I believe may be his Vivid directorial debut), the movie gives fans what they are looking for - basically a girl/girl scene between the two superstars; but looking back on the movie, I think this one is going to appeal to Briana's fans more than it's going to appeal to Tera's.

The movie opens with Tera and Briana getting into a girl/girl/girl threesome with Dillan Lauren, who is chained up and wearing a red bikini. Briana 69s with Dillan for a while and then goes down on her, allowing Tera access to Dillan's face, which she promptly sits on top of and starts rubbing herself against. Other than that bit of girl/girl between Tera and Dillan, however, Ms. Patrick is basically there to "assist" while the real hardcore lesbian fun is solely between Briana and Dillan. Briana uses a blue jelly dildo on Dillan's pussy, and eventually slides it into her ass - taking it out periodically and making Dillian lick it off. Before the scene concludes, Briana uses a longer dildo in Dillian's behind.

Briana's best scene in Collision Course doesn't feature Tera at all...it's a boy/girl coupling with Ben English that takes place on the front porch area of a large home around which all of this movie takes place. This scene begins by giving viewers a visual clue as to just how tall and leggy Briana is in high heels...she's a good foot taller than Mr. English with her heels on, but fortunately Ben is packing a tool a good bit longer than most men much taller than he is! The pairing begins with some fantastic blowjob action between the two...including Ben standing above a reclined Briana and fucking her throat with his cock. The penetration is all anal - as Ben pounds Briana's ass in the doggy, standing doggy and reverse cowgirl positions, ending with a great pop-shot onto her face.

Next, it's Tera's turn for a boy/girl scene, and as followers of her career already know, at this point Tera is only doing straight sex with her husband, Evan Seinfeld, who uses the porn name Spyder Jonez. There's nothing wrong with the action here - other than the fact that Spyder may be the only man in porn with more tattoos on his body than director Skeeter Kerkove! For the record, the action here includes missionary, cowgirl, doggy and spoon - and although Tera has yet to do anal on camera, there's some nice fingering of her backdoor by both her and Spyder during several positions of this sequence. It all concludes with a decent cumshot onto Tera's face.

Collision Course may be best remembered not for Tera and Briana's girl/girl encounter (yet to come at this point in the movie), but for the incredible no-holes-barred scene starring the extremely limber Vanessa Lane. Vanessa has been making porn for a little over a year now, but this is the first movie where she really caught my eye as a reviewer. There are some scenes that are just "star makers" and this one may have the other studios scrambling to feature Vanessa in one of their upcoming titles. Vanessa gets into a threesome between Nick Manning and Otto Bauer that includes plenty of double penetration. So what, you're probably asking? Lots of titles feature that! But it's the positions that Vanessa gets into that are so appealing. This girl can stretch like a ballerina, and some of the angles at which these two guys fuck here I'm not even sure have names yet! For example, there's one DP position, where Vanessa is arched back and holding herself up with her hands while the guys pound both of her holes! There's an award for best threesome at AVN, right? Someone over there better add this one to the nomination list!

The final scene in Collision Course is the much-anticipated one-on-one between Briana and Tera, which begins with the women approaching each other from opposite ends of a pool - with Briana in a black outfit with thigh-high boots, and Tera in a red bikini with thigh-high boots. After some mutual kissing and tit-play, Tera goes down on Briana, and after a few minutes Briana returns the favor. While Briana is giving oral to Tera, we notice that Ms. Banks already has an anal plug lodged into her behind. Briana then uses a rabbit vibe on Tera, and Tera wraps up the scene by using the same vibe on Briana's pussy (with the plug still in Briana's ass).

Vivid has done something interesting with the bonus scenes on this DVD - they have decided to give viewers all lesbian scenes, most of them featuring notable Vivid Girls, although Tera doesn't have any bonus material here (Briana does). The five scenes consist of: Jenna Jameson and Kobe Tai from Jenna Loves Kobe; Devon and Cassidey from Nice Neighbors; Savanna Samson and Sunrise Adams from Savanna Takes Control; Briana Banks, Cheyenne Silver and Taylor Hayes from Where The Boys Aren't 15; and Malezia and Monique Alexander from X Marks The Spot. Other bonuses on the DVD include a 13-minute behind the scenes featurette (which includes interviews with both Tera and Briana); slide shows; and trailers.

The only real disappointment with this DVD release is in the quality of the video. Vivid, as big of an adult studio as they are, has never been known for releasing titles with top-notch video quality, but here some noticeable pixelation takes away from enjoying the movie. Granted, I was watching Collision Course on a 55" set, so those with smaller screens may not notice, but there are some visible glitches in the picture...most likely the result of trying to compress too much video onto a single disc.

But if you can deal with the video problems, Collision Course is an enjoyable release - although more for the incredible performance by Vanessa Lane and the kind of fun we've come to expect from Briana Banks than for anything Tera adds to the festivities. So for Briana followers, it's a must-have; but those strictly into Tera may want to rent before they buy.

Vivid and director Skeeter Kerkove went all out on this movie! I was surprised Vivid even hired Skeeter, however, they sure made a great choice. Putting Briana Banks and Tera Patrick in the same movie, directed by the King of Sodom was a dream "cum" true!

The sets and locations are beautiful, with just enough script to make it interesting, however not too much to be boring. Sexually, this was the best Vivid movie I have ever seen.

I am a fan of Vivid's movies, because you can reallly tell they care about their movies, they never look cheap or like they are in a hurry! I was not a fan of Skeeter's previous work, however, I loved the outfits he has the girls wear in this movie! After watching this movie, I plan on ordering more of Skeeter Kerkove's movies!
