CUMCOCTION, directed by the sometime brilliant, other times misguided, director Robby D. is actually a cream pie video with a clever title, fair-to-very attractive starlets, but unremarkable sex. Though shot gonzo-style, there is some interplay between the director and his performers, with some attempts at humor which may or may not amuse you. Since the very nature of the video involves internal cumshots, swallowing and swapping are expected to be at a bare minimum. (In fact, Madison Scott is the only one to swallow the vaginally secreted remains in the video's opening scene, though Britney Amber does get her tongue stained at the finale.) The visuals of seeing a girl's quim covered or dripping with cum has about as much interest to me as watching Ron Jeremy eating a double cheeseburger with extra mayo. I just don't understand the appeal - unless it's a prelude to seeing another girl suck the stuff out - and I certainly don't have that much concern over whether the actual act is faked or not.

Still, at the very least, there's hot blondes like Angelina Ash (who is paired with Scott Nails) and Britney Amber (also fucked by Scott Nails, though regrettably, not in the same scene with Angelina) to enjoy. Though brunettes remain my usual preference, Joanna Angel (matched with James Deen) and to a lesser extent Cassandra Calogera (with Tommy Gunn) are just a bit too much for me. Joanna enjoyed some modest popularity back when she starred in feature videos for VCA Pictures (right at the time they were swallowed up by Hustler - for the worse, in my ever humble opinion) but I generally tried to avoid her work. That tired, gothic look and the body ink just don't do it for me, even though she is a good performer and performs butt sex like a seasoned pro, with anal fingering and uninhibited ass-to-mouth shots. Cassandra has boobs galore, and they are used to maximum effect with time devoted to tit-fucking and general breast worship, but the lip piercing spoils her otherwise fine oral skills.

Madison Scott's scene with Mick Blue and Scott Nails is the only threesome found in this flick, which isn't as enjoyable as seeing two girls with one guy, but I'll take as much variety as I can get. Shawna Lenee does appear early on, making out with Mr. Nails as they watch Madison and Mick, However, she soon leaves angrily (I was pretty peeved to see her departure, too) and Miss Scott is left to entertain the both of them, with tag-team cock sucking in between all the poking and prodding. Both guys splooge inside of her, and she laps up whatever gravity brings down.

Angelina Ash has a beautiful smile and an overall sexy appearance, accentuated by a posterior which is greatly admired by the director. Scott Nails fucks her on a dresser and then a bed, and then back to the dresser again. The standing sex is always a welcome opportunity to show off a performer's legs, and I wish more directors would use that position more often. After he rains on her parade, we get to see the drippings before he resumes fucking her for a little longer. I don't know what dose of Viagra Mr. Nails is taking before each scene, but it's got to be enough to induce heart attacks in normal men.

Saved for last, Britney Amber first appears in a brown sweater which just about unravels due to her to perky enhanced rack. Though a typical bleached blonde porno girl, Britney has a confident style which makes her undoubtedly attractive, and it's no surprise that Scott Nails is able to get it up twice in the same scene. Britney is banged primarily in doggy and cowgirl style, but she also gives a little pussy to mouth cock sucking here and there. Eventually, Scott cums once in her twat, and then a second time in her mouth after she blows him back to life.

Like all Digital Playground Blu-rays to date, the picture quality is excellent. Any misgivings one may have concerning the visuals should be directed towards the original production, where lighting is a bit muted, but gives the high definition video a film-like quality. The surround sound audio is definitely above average when it comes to the majority of Blu-ray porn (which usually sticks to conventional stereo), but I find no particular advantage in having 5.1 channels for gonzo. Besides the Digital Playground trailers and photo gallery, there is a Behind The Scenes featurette which focuses on the girls, most of whom are coming off fresh from their individual scenes.

CUMCOCKTION is pretty much what I expect from a prolific director such as Robby D: good, solid sex but nothing too revolutionary to disturb the status quo. If you enjoy the work of Joanna Angel more than I do, then you'll probably want to pick up this title for your high definition collection.
