Monique's Been Blackmaled

MONIQUE'S BEEN BLACKMALED is an interracial flick which is better off seen for the sex rather than the story. Then again, most adult flicks work better when you ignore what are often paper-thin plots filled with stereotypical characters, because the drama usually can't hold up to even the lowest of soap opera standards. Also, I generally don't care for any porno which feels compelled to draw attention to interracial pairings, because (1) it's an act that really shouldn't be regarded as "unique" or "special" (this is the 21st century, if I recall) and (2) addressing a serious subject like race and racism in porn is going way beyond what this genre can handle.

Nevertheless, I understand that even in these enlightened times, the thought that a WASPy blonde like Monique Alexander exchanging bodily fluids with an African-American male or female may still be seen as taboo to some of the populace, so such specialty titles are necessary. This Paul Thomas features is presented as a series of vignettes, starring hard party-er Monique and her best friend Claudia Downs. Both girls get their share of black-on-white lust, but they don't do each other, which is too bad, because there the two actresses work well in dialogue scenes together.

For her first interracial affair, Miss Alexander puts on a show with Miss Sandy Jackman , a curvy long-haired black girl, who dirty dances, makes-out, and then shares a red dildo with her blonde partner. Mr. Marcus gets a small sampling of the action, but waits around for the girls to finish. Then with barely a moment to rest, Monique then gets squeezed between Mr. Marcus and Tyler for a "just okay" threesome in which one guy gets sticks it in her mouth, while the other guy lodges it into her pussy. There's an exchange of positions every once in awhile but no double penetration and no anal.

And then that's it for Monique when it comes to getting blackmaled. Her other scenes include an opening "whitemaled" scene with Alex Gonz, performed in the same living room with short-haired blonde Miss Downs, who is teamed up with Derrick Pierce. The girls put on a little striptease show for the boys at the beginning, but then get down to business with their respective partners. This scene suffers from a lack of any fourway action which might have elevated some straightforward fucking and sucking to something more interesting. But instead, we get two pairs doing the nasty competently but without surprises. Claudia takes a cumshot to the mouth by Mr. Pierce, but Monique prefers to receive it on the stomach and chest.

Slightly better is the threesome among Claudia, Jada Fire and Tee Reel, which is presented as a flashback as we join the two girls in the middle of a dual action blowjob on their lucky guy. Jada then over to receive it doggy-style, and Claudia follows suit, and gets screwed in missionary as well. A quick reverse-cowgirl for Jada opens up for some standard cowgirl by Miss Downs, and then we get a couple of more repeated positions before the cumshot, a rather weak one at that, which is only shared by Claudia. Once again, lesbian loving is almost nonexistent, and an opportunity for a climactic cumswap is completely ignored.

If it weren't for Monique's striking good looks, I would have a hard time giving this video even an average rating, but she manages to save the film from being completely dismissible. A minute Behind The Scenes segment features some interesting interviews with Monique and Claudia (who comes off as quite sincere and likable), but poor miking and some unflattering camera angles make it a bit of a chore to get through. Finally, over one hour of excerpted interracial scenes from other Vivid titles is also presented, but it's not enough to make me want to give this disc another spin in the near future.
