Up Skirts

I remember when Alektra Blue was kind of a newcomer to the industry, before the breast implants, when she was a bit more uncertain of herself. I like this new, confident, augmented, anal inclined Alektra, and Up Skirts from Zero Tolerance is a really nice venue from which to show off this side of her.

Most of us can relate to a love for skirts, the way they hint at something more, telling you there is something worthwhile all the way up there if you're lucky enough to find out. They're a tease. So I had some concerns that Upskirts as there certainly isn't going to be anything in the way of a long tease. It's a thin theme for this, and it doesn't' really work all that well.

Alektra Blue does get second billing, and I was a bit annoyed that they were saying, "Hey, she looks like one of those porno chicks!" First of all, who uses the term porno? Isn't it just porn? Seriously? Secondly, the let's fool the girl so we can fuck her routine is kind of insulting. I don't like them calling her a whore, I don't like their assumption that she's dumb, that she can be fooled, that she'll fuck them. I hate this kind of attitude... it's one of the major problems in the industry, this kind of unhealthy relationship with women.

So of course she complies, having sex with the main guy. Honestly, they put in a good show. If we could delete the premise, I'd actually call it good. But there's some nice anal work done and except for the guy insisting that Alektra make out with a picture of herself with cum, I can accept it. That weird bit at the end, though, brought the stupidity full circle.

Nika Noire and Tori Black probably put in my favourite scene on this disc, double teaming Manuel Ferrara. They also have terrific skirts on, though they're more along the lines of belts than skirts. Very impressive stuff. Bad premise, again, but not as bad of a premise as Alektra's scene. They pretend to be impressed by his car (stereotype alert), with all of the predictable giggly responses you would expect. The upskirt shot really isn't even all that interesting at this point, either.

I do want to trade places with Manuel though when Tori sits on his face. To have that ass bouncing on me... that's one excellent reason to get into the business. The girls work fairly well together, too, not seemingly afraid to touch or lick each other. Some light rimming is nice, though they do return to the premise of the girls being fooled again in the end. Stop that.

Deena Daniels is a cute little brunette, and I'll give her scene a chance as one last attempt to actually like this film. She's very cute, looking a lot like Alektra did when she first got into the business, actually. It's not a bad scene, though not with the best of chemistry. Disappointing was that the cumshot was supposed to be a facial and essentially missed the mark, hitting her in the shoulder. Not sure whose fault that was, but it did dampen things a bit. It was nice that she made such great eye contact until the camera faded out, but it still makes this seem like a poor choice for a last scene. There should be some more fire, some more action at the end. Take Alektra's action with Deena's non-annoying premise, and we may have something.

I swear, I tried. I wanted to like this movie, especially with the cast list and the way the boxcover looked. I'm a sucker for stockings and pantyhose, so I figured I'd get some of that in this feature. But it was not to be. The kind of upskirt shots were more in the fantasy of teenage boys, and so was the mindset of the feature. The premises were lousy, vaguely misogynistic and misanthropic, a kind of juvenile humour that I wish didn't have a home in the adult world. For now, it's something we have to deal with. In the future, I hope we can get past this as one step to attempt to destigmatize this industry we all love.
