Nikki Jayne Experiment, The

THE NIKKI JAYNE EXPERIMENT is a winner of a porno, and a must-have for anyone who likes their hardcore nasty and aggressive yet passionate. Even if you don't have an affinity for sexy, blue-eyed blondes with a cockney accent, big breasts and a body which can assume almost any sexual position known to human-kind, I can't imagine not wanting to see this newcomer Nikki Jayne in action at least once. Needless to state, this "experiment" of hers is a superb introduction.

THE NIKKI JAYNE EXPERIMENT is proudly trumpeted on the Blu-ray box cover as being "Her Vivid Debut!" According to my quickie research (namely, making use of ADE's "Pornstars" section), Miss Jayne has appeared in three other videos, including THE INITIATION OF NIKKI JAYNE from Harmony, PORN WEEK - LOS ANGELES VACATION from Shane's World, and DEFEND OUR PORN from Evil Angel. Though I haven't seen any of those flicks, it's safe to say that judging by the studios' reputation, her work was probably as hard and wild as one might expect. It's true that Vivid is best known for their high class beauties and couples-oriented features, but with this release, they've successfully joined the ranks of great gonzo. If you've avoided Vivid titles because of all their self-imposed carnal restraints and snobby reputation, then THE NIKKI JAYNE EXPERIMENT should alleviate your concerns.

After a brief, but enthusiastic self-introduction by Nikki, we dive right into her first scene which begins with a boner-stirring striptease. She then rolls and writhes on a bed laid out in the middle of a dilapidated warehouse, where the run-down environment serves as an appropriate setting for her down and dirty nature. After showing off her goodies, she welcomes Mick Blue onto her bed, and the initial fondling and fingering is shot in POV (point of view) style, with Nikki's body filling the frame as much as possible. The video takes its own sweet, lusty time with every position change, and unlike most gonzo work, isn't paced according to formula or routine. When the two engage in fucking and sucking, the action looks and feels natural even amidst all the intense and varied anal action, ass-to-mouth fucking, rimming, kissing and dirty talk. Her accent adds to her impressive vocabulary for aural stimulation, and not once will you feel compelled to fast-forward or skip around her scene. The oral cumshot is predictable, but not at all unappreciated. For any other video, this scene would be a climactic highlight. Here, it's just status quo for Miss Jayne.

It's only natural that after such an impressive opener, a scene featuring Veronique Vega (who is a cute brunette, with modest, perky breasts and generally fun performer) with Trent Tesoro would be a bit of a let-down. They get it on in a more civilized setting - namely, a living room couch - but the non-anal coupling is routine, even with the well-placed facial. For those who insist upon seeing a little ethnic diversity at some point in their smut, this scene will suffice, yet I was anxious to get back to the star of the show.

Lounging on a red chair, our blonde sexpot returns to the screen with a dildo in hand (and eventually, in pussy) to warm us up for her next scene: a girl-girl affair with newcomer Meggan Mallone, followed immediately by a threesome with Jerry. I was instantly struck by the sight of Miss Mallone, who is simply sensational here and steals the show thanks to her seductive eyes, sultry beauty and high energy. She shares some private time with the featured starlet in a bathtub, exchanging deep kisses and soft caresses eventually building to a full-on lesbian affair. Yet, even after all that action, the girls are all fired up to please Jerry, who gets to have two sets of lips and tongues on his cock for a good long time (lucky, lucky, lucky bastard!). He then fucks them both in a tag-team match, and the results are top-notch. When the two girls aren't riding on his cock, their playing and licking each other almost constantly. I believed that Meggan would be overshadowed by her partner, but it turns out to be a near even match. The only "shortcoming" with this scene is that neither girl does anal, which is surprising considering what Nikki went through with Mick Blue earlier. (Not to worry: Miss Jayne does anal as well as double-penetration big time in her penultimate scene.) Meggan takes the majority of the cumshot to her mouth, but Nikki is right there to lick off the remnants and share the taste with her partner. At the very, very least, I'm grateful to have seen this flick just to discover a new shining talent like Meggan Mallone.

I was almost ready to skip the following scene featuring Allyssa Hall with Alex Gonz. She is an attractive, young brunette and of course, yet another newbie to the porno scene. Unfortunately, my fixated lust on Miss Mallone still had a hold on me and seeing anyone else in action was a letdown. In any event, Miss Hall exhibits a cute, Penny Flame-ish demeanor, and she is no slouch when it comes to fellatio and getting rammed. The only truly disappointing moment in their scene occurs during the climax. There is an obvious edit as Mr. Gonz tries to stroke himself into orgasmic bliss straight into Allyssa's patiently awaiting mouth, but the shot misses its mark and falls somewhere on to her chest, with nary an oral stain in sight. She sucks him off, turns her head to cough, and then continues to polish his knob for awhile, but we're left hanging as to whether she got to swallow anything at all. In fact, the camera angle makes it difficult to verify if Mr. Gonz was actually able to bust his nut onscreen, but thanks to slow-motion replay, I was able to spot the cumshot, albeit with the same visual clarity as the Zapruder film. Oh, well.

After two great scenes, it was probably a challenge for Nikki to top herself towards the end of the show. Yet, she manages to achieve more erotic excellence by taking on Ben English and Mick Blue at the same time in a "fucked-up shitty house" on a "shitty mattress" (as she describes it). Both guys are bald, and though I was slightly disarmed by the visual spectacle of seeing Right Said Fred sandwich the British blonde, I remained impressed by her physical workout. (Incidentally, I leave it to the new generation of porn fans to do their own research as to meaning of my obscure reference.) Throughout her double penetration scenes, Miss Jayne works up a sweat which glistens over her entire body, and I've rarely seen a girl who was able to do this kind of positioning so naturally. In between ass-to-mouth shots, the two guys work her over endlessly but seem to tire out before she does. Thankfully, she relieves them of any more anatomical duties with a double shot of splooge to her mouth, which probably served as a refreshment more effective than Gatorade.

The movie ends on a more "personal" note, with Nikki delivering a POV blowjob to completion on Evan Stone. It takes a while for him to reach the stages of Nirvana, so she uses her hands and tongue at every instance to bring the matter to a close. I expected her to graphically chug down his load, but she seems more comfortable playing with it than swallowing. Nevertheless, I found this simple hummer to be a nice touch, and an appropriately low-key conclusion to an otherwise action-packed show.

Video quality on this Blu-ray disc is generally excellent, with strong, detailed images which show-off the high definition source. Any inconsistencies in colors, contrast, or brightness are due to the original production, which admittedly, appear to be very modestly budgeted. (The brazen cheapness of the warehouse setting is even mentioned during the Behind The Scenes segment.) However, I was glad to see a gonzo video which didn't employ distorted, fish-eye lenses on the cameras, and there's no doubt in my mind that a high profile video like this one deserves a Blu-ray release. Sound reproduction is also good, though some of the actresses are difficult to hear due to poor miking. I appreciated the high definition presentation of the Behind The Scenes featurette, and found the twenty-three minute footage to be humorous and entertaining. Also included are six excerpts taken from Vivid's BRAND NEW FACES series, which are also displayed in widescreen, but obviously truncated to a running time of less than five minutes each. Still, I can't complain about any Blu-ray where the main feature plays at nearly four hours in length, and I certainly can't whine when the content is this great.

It's not at all an insult to declare that even after viewing this video Nikki Jayne hasn't quite captured my perverted heart in the same way modern legends like Lauren Phoenix, Jenna Haze, Taylor Rain, Tori Lane or Taryn Thomas have. Those girls have a natural talent which makes all their sexual invention and acrobatics seem absolutely effortless and thoroughly memorable. (That they are also brunettes probably also plays into my personal preferences.) However, it's clear that Miss Jayne is going to be hit it big in the jizz biz, and that she'll probably be the most popular Vivid Girl for all of 2009. I just hope she indulges in a few more of her "Experiments" before she retires due to physical exhaustion.
