Fishnets 9

FISHNETS 9 is an ongoing series devoted to that part of the body which really gets me going, namely, legs. And what better way to show off the lower extremities than in sexy fishnet stockings where one can admire the design as well as the wearer. I recently had the opportunity to review NYLONS 4 starring the luscious Tori Black, and as good as that flick was, this movie is overall better because longtime director Mike Quasar is more skilled at emphasizing the theme. He deserves praise for taking this concept of kinky leg wear, and indulging in it with extended teasing shots of girls who know how to show off their gams. My only complaint with Mr. Quasar's style is his continuous and systematic method of fading to black at the end of his scenes prematurely. This a habit which greatly affected my enjoyment of his earlier work (the otherwise excellent BLOW ME SANDWICH series) because cum-swapping and post-orgasmic kissing would suddenly be "cut-off" right even thought the women weren't ready to quit just yet. Luckily, none of the oral cumshots found here are greatly truncated, but I wish that some of the scenes didn't end so quickly.

Juicy Pearl is one of two top-heavy, hardbodied blondes appearing in FISHNETS 9, with the remaining players being brunettes. She is dressed in black and red lingerie, and paired with James Deen. While overall not my type (dark-haired Jessica Jaymes and Evie Delatosso easily fill my personal preferences), Juicy has the lean, leggy look which is perfect for this type of film. However, Miss Pearl's skills are not quite up to par with the rest of the girls: her oral work is nice and wet, but she seems rather disconnected with the action, though she goes through the motions well enough with the right-on-cue moaning and panting. The cumshot to her chest is also disappointing.

Luckily, the rather lackluster opening is made up by the appearance of Carolyn Reese, another blonde who is definitely older (she admits her age as 29) but more passionate. Her scene, as well as a couple of others in this flick, involves some always welcome foreplay (kissing, caressing and so forth) with Christian XXX. After she sucks his cock, shot nicely from his perspective, he bangs her while she leans on a pool table, and the viewer gets to see her body spread out in red lingerie and pink high heels. The reverse cowgirl positions are also well-varied, with her sitting leaning towards the sides on occasion, but the camera captures the full length of her body most of the time. The finishing money shot is taken straight inside her mouth, and swallowed down, which proves that with age comes experience and in this case, greater satisfaction.

The next scene is even better, as Kelly Summer walks out of room and onto a catwalk (just how wealthy do you have to be in order to have a plank linking the rooms in your house?), strutting her hot body draped in black. After playing with herself for awhile, James Deen meets her on the walkway, and they work together within the narrow confines of their settings. Kelly has a sultry appearance, enhanced by a cute overbite. As she showered Mr. Deen with long and hard kisses, and sucked him deeply with that pronounced pout, all I could think of was, "You lucky bastard!" Even when they later retreat to a bed for some missionary fucking, Kelly wears her outfit almost throughout, though her breasts eventually spill out so that we get to see all her goods. In the end, he shoots across her right thigh and onto her lips, and she licks off the majority of the wetness which has remained on her stocking. An apparent newbie to the world of adult, Miss Summer is a performer to look out for in 2009.

Anna Marie Rios is another good performer, though perhaps a little too over the top for me. She has a very physical session with Mick Blue, again highlighted by some passionate kissing and good positioning, especially when she spreads her legs as he fucks her missionary style. Miss Rios is very vocal, literally screaming "sweet nothings" to Mr. Blue as he pounds away. The cumshot lands primarily on her chest, with a bit spilling onto her right foot which she holds in order to get her nylons wet. She greedily laps at the stained clothing, but I couldn't help but notice that she avoids touching the bigger quantity of splooge resting on her breasts.

Jessica Jaymes, easily the hottest girl in FISHNETS 9, appears in a blue plaid skirt and fishnets with extra large holes (my fashion knowledge as to what that design is called is sorely limited, so forgive the awkward description). She is matched with Sascha, who directs most of the action, but does not interfere with Jessica's expertise in oral sex and doggy style fucking. Nothing too unusual takes place in her scene, but she is so easy on the eyes that I didn't notice significant shortcomings. He cums rather weakly in her mouth, but she sucks at him thoroughly after he spills his load, making an average scene totally worthwhile.

Finally, Evie Delatosso appears, and she comes off as relaxed and attractive onscreen as she does off. (The Behind The Scenes segments show her to be fun and flirtatious, cuddling up to Mark Wood like a longtime boyfriend.) Her dark tresses are enhanced nicely by her black outfit, and the several minutes we spend watching her touch herself on a black chair, and then walking towards the camera are simply hypnotic. She could easily pass for a distant cousin of Sunny Leone, and is almost as sexy. Mr. Francesca Le (Mark Wood) gets the honor of schtupping her on a couch, in a scene enhanced with spanking and some hearty pussy-eating. The oral cumshot is well-done, with seductive eye-contact by Ms Delatosso, who seems to have exhausted her partner. These two have a natural chemistry together, and I can only imagine how great life must be for Mr. Wood, who gets to have Evie while at work, and then go home to Francesca at the end of the day.

The picture quality of this Blu-ray disc was good, but not exceptional. The overall videography has a slightly over-exposed look, which made me think my monitor's contrast was out of whack. Details aren't as eye-popping as other high definition porn I've seen, but the widescreen picture is still more enjoyable than what we see on any standard DVD. The 2.0 audio is also adequate, with well miked girls (especially during the interviews) and no flaws overall. The Behind The Scenes featurette runs at slightly less than fifteen minutes, but gives us a chance to meet positively charismatic girls like Delatosso and Jaymes. FISHNETS 9 is not superior porn, but I enjoyed it well enough to recommend without hesitation.

You get exactly what you're wanting and very little more. The girls are all attractive and the guys don't get in the way. Not a lot of extras, but great for the lingerie fan.
