Brand New Faces #6

This Blu-ray release of Brand New Faces 6 marked by first look at this all-amateur series from Vivid, and if seeing new talent in action is your "thing," I think you'll be pretty pleased with this release.

The movie only features four sex scenes (instead of the usual standard of five to seven), but we get pretty much everything that was shot (by director B. Skow), so the running time of this title is actually close to three and a half hours.

The first girl up is blonde-haired Dylan Fox, who was probably my favorite overall of the four starlets. She's 20 years old, and not only has she never fucked on camera before, but she claims she's never even taken her clothes off in front of one. All of these segments begin with an interview session with the girl, followed by her stripping and showing off her body, then leading into the sex scene. Dylan's scene is with porn veteran Voodoo, and she's quite natural performing on camera - never looking like she's giving a performance or trying to "show off".

The same can't be said for black performer Lisa Belize, whose personality is just about as fake as her breasts. Her most notable claim in her pre-scene interview is the fact that she's never taken a pop-shot in her face. Well, sure enough, Alex Gonz unloads one in her mouth and face at the conclusion of their scene, and sure enough, Ms. Belize spits out (rather dramatically) what lands inside her mouth. Although I do give her props for sucking Alex dry after he's unloaded on her. Of all the girls on this DVD, Lisa comes off as the most "phony" of the bunch...which probably means she has a long porn career ahead of her!

Scarlett Fay is a natural redhead, although her hair comes off more of a brownish color on camera. She's yet another gal who claims to have never had sex on camera or even stripped for one before. Unlike Dylan, however, who seemed a bit more shy when it came to performing her first scene, Scarlett already looks like a seasoned veteran as she takes on Voodoo's tool on a bed. Scarlett even takes an internal pop-shot in her pussy at the conclusion - not something you see many starlets do their first time in front of the camera. I didn't enjoy Scarlett as much as Dylan Fox, but she's a close second.

Last up is brunette Veronica Hall, who just turned 18 three days before this scene was shot! She's never had sex before with a girl, and performs with blonde Sammie Rhodes here. Veronica is at least honest about why she's performing: she claims her boyfriend is putting her up to it. Ah, if only he knew just how many starlets have boyfriends urge them into the business, only to be dumped later for a porn stud, producer, or (sometimes) another sexy babe! Anyway, Veronica's scene is a nice one, as Sammie not only teaches her how to give (and receive) oral, but the two also have a strap-on session, where Sammie dons a red jelly dildo and fucks Veronica in the missionary, reverse cowgirl and doggy positions. They also share a double-ended flesh-colored dildo before the scene fades to black.

The video quality of this release is good for an adult Blu-ray title, but potential buyers should note that the transfer here is 1080i and not full 1080p. Audio is below average for a high-def release and presented in 2.0 Dolby. The only extras on this release are a 1080i slide show and a pair of trailers - one for Sunny Loves Matt and one for Debbie Loves Dallas (the Debbie trailer is in 720p).

Because Blu-rays are at a premium right now in the adult world, Brand New Faces 6 is one of those titles you may want to rent on DVD or check out on VOD before taking the hi-def plunge. But assuming this kind of stuff turns you on and you don't mind the lack of extras, you should be pleased with what you get on this title.
