Cherry Pie

Cherry Pie is a fun film, but not the highest quality you are going to find in the market, either in production value or the actual quality of the DVD. Although filmed in 1994, this film has the look and feel of 80's porn, and while adult studios have moved on to bigger and better things, this title, for all its flaws, still might be one you want to add to your adult library.

The story (written by Lillie Hammer and directed by F.J. Lincoln) is an obvious take on the old "Archie" comic books, with little attempt to mask the characters the movie is attempting to spoof. Young Betty (Jenna Jameson) and Veronica (Eva Flowers, here going under one of her other stage names, "Eva Tiffany") are fighting over which one of them is going to get into Archie's (Jonathan Morgan) pants. But Archie has already found a girlfriend in the form of Kim Chambers...as we find out in the movie's opening sex scene. Most of the action here is pretty standard, but the cumshot at the end is particularly nice, as Jonathan poises himself above Kim's mouth and shoots his load down onto her waiting lips and face.

While this is one of Jenna's earliest films, Cherry Pie is probably more notable for the fact that it marks the adult debut of Kylie Ireland. Given her scene here, it's easy to see why Kylie stuck around in the business! She is absolutely fantastic looking, playing Serena, the teenage witch, and our first look at her is in a naughty little outfit that includes a broomstick and witch's hat. Her scene is with Gerry Pike, and although it is somewhat darkly lit, it is very arousing to watch. One of the best positions taken by the two here is one that can only be referred to as "reverse missionary", as Kylie lies on her back in the standard missionary position, but Gerry faces the other way and still manages to slide his tool in and out of her with relative ease.

Meanwhile, Jenna and Eva are still trying to devise a way to get Jonathan's attention. They decide to make out with each other and make sure Jonathan is watching them do it. The lesbian encounter between the two girls is quite nice, and seems to have some real passion to it. Jonathan watches from a nearby hallway, but he is content to rub himself off against the wall, rather than do what any red-blooded American male would do...and dive into the action!

Even though his current girlfriend winds up fucking Nick East while Jonathan is busy watching Jenna and Eva, the two girls still can't seem to get Jonathan's attention. So they decide that the best way to get him is to both seduce him at the same time and then make Jonathan pick between the two of them. Oh, if things only worked this way in real life! Jonathan gets to fuck both of the girls, including cowgirl action with Jenna and missionary with Eva. When it comes to blowing his load, Eva is the lucky recipient of the facial.

While the low production value and somewhat cheesy dialogue and acting prevents me from giving Cherry Pie a higher score, most Jenna fans will probably want to take a look at this movie, and I dare say it is a must-have for fans of Kylie Ireland. The overall DVD doesn't fare much better in quality, offering a photo gallery of poor stills from the movie, six previews and a chapter selection. The quality of the video is only average and looks like it was taken from an average VHS copy of the film. The audio doesn't even fare that well, as it is often muddy in tone and often hard to make out what is being said.

"Cherry Pie" is a Lincoln-Rhodes production originally shot in 1995 and recently transferred from tape to DVD. It is amazing what has developed in the biz in just five and one-half short years. The main thing that threw us for a loop is that by some standards, ours at least, this film could be declared a classic. Let us explain. For starters, Kylie Ireland was highlighted as "and Introducing Kylie Ireland". With a career that was beginning in 1994, this could have been one of her very early starring roles. The other element was Jenna Jameson. 1995 was her first year involved in films, and it was a definite treat to see her in action, almost shy and timid before she became the huge, mega-success that she is today. Aside from these two favorites the other noticeable change from then and now was that this Sin City film was condom free. But while things have changed significantly in the looks of the performers and the safety of the on-screen intercourse, the sex is still as hot as ever.

"Cherry Pie" starts off with Jenna and Eva Tiffany (aka Eve) chatting about how they cannot believe that their first year of college is over and that they are home for the summer. What becomes their task for the summer ahead is to win the affection of their long time friend, Jonathan Morgan to be more than "just friends". Early on it becomes evident that this is a spoof from the old Archie cartoons of the past with the characters having names like Archie, Juggs, Betty etc. Meanwhile, Jonathan is chatting with his friends Jerry Pike who in the film never went to college and became an electronics retail salesperson and Nick East who stayed home as well. As Jonathan begins telling his friends about college women, we move into the movies first action scene.


Jonathan hooks up with his girlfriend played by Kimberly Chambers. Kimberly has a pair of huge tits and an unbelievable talent for giving head. For those fans out there who have seen Asia Carrera in action, she has this great style where she focuses her wet kisses and sucking on the head, while her hand works on the shaft in a quick up and down twisting motion. While that should be patented, Kimberly's should be reviewed and tried at home as well. Her technique involved a large amount of saliva followed by attention to the details of Jonathan's testicles through gentle licking and sucking. As the scene moves to the cumshot, we get to see an interesting set up. At the top of the bed, Jonathan is kneeling over Kimberly's face and while jacking himself off on her large breasts, she is licking his balls and fingering herself. Great money shot!

Not to be outdone by his college friend, Jerry Pike speaks of how great it is working in retail and trading VCRs for sex. Jerry tells of an experience he had in which we are "introduced" to Kylie, typed as Serena the teenage witch who begins the scene by pleasuring herself with a huge dildo. As the scene moves along we are introduced to a position we have never scene before. JC's first adult movie seen was back in 1981, "Inside Desiree Cousteau". Over twenty some years, through junior high, high school, college, graduate school and now married, he has seen a ton of movies and oddities. The best way to describe this activity is a "reverse missionary". Lying on her back with her legs spread far back, Jerry enters her from in front in a kneeing position. But instead of being on top facing this beauty, he is facing out, away from her body. If you cannot envision it, check out the movie for at least this scene.

In an attempt to gain Jonathan's affections, Jenna and Eva decide if he sees them together in a provocative situation, perhaps that would gain his attention. Not certain if that would work, but the girl-on-girl with today's mega star Jenna in an early role and the cute, and seldom seen Eva was enjoyable. It was great to see Jenna implant free and blond with the contrasting dark haired, Roman-nosed Eva in this lesbian scene. A few great moments in this duet include a wonderful close up of Eva every so delicately filleting Jenna's outer pussy lips with her fluttering tongue. Before long it is Jenna's turn to return the favor with the probe of a fuscia vibe while Eva does some heavy-duty finger fucking on her partner.

While the sex made scene with the plot, we were thrown a curve, when Jonathan's friend played by Nick East meets his girlfriend, Kimberly who decides that she needs more than just one boyfriend. While these two hook up we are again treated to a great slurpy deep throat while all of Kimberly's fingers play piano on Nick's sack. Before long, we are given the movies only anal scene while Kimberly continues to slap and work her clit with a fury. One issue noted here, was while we both appreciated the sexual energy of this hot lady, one suggestion we would have made in 1995 was for her to choose a different bikini bottom for tanning. While her inviting tan-lines added to her beauty. Her private area was a mess of multiple stripes that look almost sickly.

Realizing that his girlfriend has other intentions, Jenna and Eva bake Jonathan a cake and give him the ultimatum that after sharing their friendship for so long, that it was time that he choose between on of them. How would he do that he asks? Can you say three-way? In this hot three-way both girls get their share of plugging before all are satisfied and Jonathan lets the cuties know that he will decide the next day. As we see the girls waiting, Jonathan comes in and lets the girls know of his decision.... Serena, the teen-age witch. Enter Kylie. Ticked off by his decision, the movie closes with Jonathan getting punched and kicked by Jenna and Eva.

Some of the best reasons to see this film include the early on talents of Kylie and Jenna as well as the raw energy of Kimberly. An almost silly, Archie tie-in peppers a bit to the humor aspect of the film. From a technical side, the transfer from tape to disc gave us a very clear picture and thought out music to compliment the sex. However, in this transfer as in some others a trick that cannot seem to be met is the quality of the dialogue. Let's be honest, while we don't always watch these films for their script value, it is nice to hear the conversations of the actors and actress to follow along. While the music and fuck-noises were more than clear, the talk was missed in hollow echoes. From a feature set, this Sin City disk offered a Sex Talk add for a 1-900 line, website info, chapter search, photos and a host of some interesting looking Sinister "18" theme flicks but together by an older guy named Rod Fontana who we never heard of but in the Dirty Debutante style gets to bang them while filming. Not a back option for early retirement!
