Last Call

Wicked's Last Call does a little cribbing from mainstream director David Fincher's The Game (starring Michael Douglas), but we'll forgive director Francois Clousot - since the result is a pretty taut mystery/thriller starring Kaylani Lei and Brad Armstrong.

Armstrong has the lead role here as Scott, whose evening out turns into a nightmare when he meets up with Kaylani's character at a local bar. What begins as a one-night stand turns into a cat and mouse game that will leave him robbed, beaten and penniless before dawn.

Before Brad's character realizes what is about to happened to him, he spends the first sex scene of the movie in bed with Kaylani. There's a hot opening to this coupling as Brad literally lifts her up in the air and pins her up against the wall to eat out her pussy. Moving to the bed, the scene continues with missionary, reverse cowgirl, doggy, and a scene-ending pop into Kaylani's mouth.

Brad goes to get a shower, and when he returns he realizes that Kaylani has taken off with his wallet, his phone and the keys to his car! Heading out into the dark back-alleys of Los Angeles, Brad starts running into some strange characters, including a kooky girl played by Tori Black, and two sex-starved owners of a lingerie store, played by Mikayla Mendez and Alektra Blue.

Brad gets into a kinky encounter with Mikayla while Alektra is egging the two of them on over the phone. When he leaves the lingerie store, he find himself wandering into another building where blondes Tanya James and Bridgette B. put on a girl/girl show for him.

At this point in the movie, we learn that a group run by Eric Masterson is behind what's happening to Brad. We're still not sure the motive behind it, but we find out that all of the women Brad has encountered are under the employment of Eric - including Tori Black, who makes out with Eric in a back alley in Last Call's penultimate sex scene.

The finale finds Brad entering yet another building where Kaylani is making out with Randy Spears while surrounded by a group of hooded monk-like people (yes, there's a very Eyes Wide Shut-like vibe to this scene). Brad also has some fun of his own as Alektra and Mikayla arrive to suck him off in a blowjob-only segment.

The last 10 minutes or so of the movie don't contain any more sex, but do answer the how, who and why of Brad's night of hell. While who is behind the plot isn't a complete shock (and perhaps rather obvious), Brad's response to it all wraps up the movie fittingly.

Last Call has been shot and mastered in high definition, and the only complaint I can level against the video quality is that, because the majority of scenes take place at night or in darkened rooms, the lighting for much of the sexual action isn't always ideal. Audio is presented in 5.1 Dolby and is top-notch for an adult DVD release.

Extras on the DVD consist of a 23 ½-minute behind the scenes featurette; a bonus scene between Kaylani and Randy Spears from the release of Fame; a movie slide show; the trailer for Last Call, as well as a number of other trailers.

Last Call is one of those releases that prove to be really good for couples, because of the well-crafted storyline. Sexually speaking, this isn't the hottest movie I've seen starring Kaylani, but it's good enough that most of her fans are going to want to add it to their collection.
