Toxic Angels

When I think of most Euro porn, I tend to think of many of the releases from Private earlier this decade, where it wasn't a scene until there was anal in it, and having two women in one scene generally meant they were both there to service the guy. Marc Dorcel appears to have quite a bit of the same feeling going in most productions, with a similar style of cinematography and general approach to scenes. So when I pulled out Toxic Angels Fuck VIP, a strange title if there ever was one, I really wasn't expecting it to be an all girl feature. There was something in it being a Euro flick where I was just waiting the guys to show up, if even mid-scene. Instead, it's a Sapphic fun fest that's a mixed bag but should have something for everyone.

The opening scene struck me as simply strange. There's a woman with running mascara tied up in a trunk, though she's occasionally using a lighter to look around inside the trunk. Alright, it's artsy, kind of cool looking, and something nice to intersperse with the credits. I wasn't expecting two women to be the ones to pull her out of the trunk. Barely clothed, the pull her from the car and sort of make out with her before dragging her into a villa. That's where the threeway takes place, though they are sure to highlight the high heels walking on gravel before they get there. It was an odd kind of stumbling into the villa, where it seemed like she was pretending her legs were bound together. Weird. They her around a bit but things quickly become apparently consensual, or at least as much as this "fantasy" will allow. There's quite a bit of focus on kissing, which is nice and frequently lost, and the toys don't come out too soon, either. The only real weirdness is when there's the fellatio of a strap-on. That just screams to me of male fantasy rather than as something you would have three women doing. Makes it just a bit more uncomfortable.

The next scene was more fun, though really quite strange. The brunette in this one has some booty on her, though, something always welcome in OranjeNation. Why they're in an auto junkyard is really quite beyond me, but eventually they settle in on the hood of a car that looks like it could be the subject of one of those NuFinish car wax commercials. Even after fifty lesbian couples had sex on the hood, it still has its showroom shine! I don't much care for the slightly sepia filter they use for this scene, either, as it gives it a hot and humid kind of feel. Combined with the persistent but dark music, and I'm really not comfortable watching them. It isn't as erotic so much as it is just a sexual occurrence. One point that was impressive was that the brunette's co-star manages to go cowgirl on a toy, doing all the pumping while only having her tip-toes and one hand on the hood. She's got a hell of a lot of strength in those legs.

I don't know that, even with the four remaining scenes, any of these really appealed to me. One is outdoors with a pleasant enough aristocratic feel. Another is in a limo and is pleasant enough. Probably the most pleasant of the bunch was simply a blonde and a brunette on a bed, really seeming to be into each other. I don't know what it is about this film and black dildos, but there's another here as well. A nice scene, but what I want is for them to stop shifting to a black and white camera periodically for effect. Like much of Michael Ninn's work, the effects are starting to get into the way of actually watching the film.

I'm really not sure what to think of Toxic Angels, other than to say that this title is way too damn long. I suppose if you're looking for an artistic look at lesbian lovemaking, then this is a good stop. It's not thematically insane nor is it inconsistent in approach. The approach and look of the women is very consistent. If you're looking for more typical Euro porn, the kind with anal in every scene and unspeakably wonderful things all around, look elsewhere. This one is soft in a good way.
