True Porn Fiction

With one of the better box covers in a long time (doesn't Monique look fantastic?!), I was hoping for a lot more than I got in Vivid's True Porn Fiction. With a great title and a great star like Monique, this one definitely seems like a missed opportunity by one of adult's biggest studios.

For starters, the movie has absolutely nothing to do with Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. So while it would seem that would be ripe territory for a great porn parody, you won't be getting one in True Porn Fiction. Instead, the movie is a hodgepodge of sexual fantasy sequences that Monique Alexander has.

From a sexual standpoint, the first scene - although dimly lit and hard to make out at times - is probably the best. It's a mini-orgy sequence involving Monique, Shayla LaVeaux, Julie Night, Evan Stone and Tommy Gunn, that includes some nice anal action with Julie. It's also nice to see Shayla back in action, since we really haven't seen her active since Jim Holliday passed on. Monique doesn't see too much cock in this scene, although we do get to watch her blow Tommy and ride him cowgirl style. She then spends the second half of the segment masturbating as Tommy fucks Shayla, and Evan pounds Julie - both in the doggy position. The pop-shots here have Evan cumming on Julie's behind, and Tommy doing the same to Shayla.

Scene Two has yet another pool table being used in the name of porn, as busty blonde Davia Ardell gets pounded by Marco Duato. This scene also has some anal action - with Davia taking it up her behind in the reverse cowgirl and cowgirl positions (as she spins from one position to the other, without Marco having to pull out). There's a decent facial at the end of the scene, and Marco shoots a heavy enough load that he's also able to get some on Davia's chest.

The most standard scene in True Porn Fiction is next, as Monique and Barry Scott have a so-so fuck and suck encounter in Monique's bedroom. I wasn't quite able to figure out if Barry was playing a "john" or was supposed to be her actual boyfriend, but regardless, this is a rather by-the-numbers encounter, with not much heat generated. Positions covered consist of cowgirl, spoon and missionary, with a pop-shot onto Monique's pussy concluding the action.

An all-girl dungeon/dominatrix session is next, with Melissa Lauren, Trina Michaels and Mary Jane getting into a threesome while Fraulein Fist, Savanna Snow and Anna Valentina watch the action. Melissa is the aggressor in the scene, and there's a nice exchange of oral, fingering and toy use between the girls.

The final scene in the movie has Monique in jail and being seduced by prison guard Randy Spears. Randy can always be counted on to deliver the goods, but I felt his pop-shot here was by cumming on Monique's pussy, instead of her face or chest (which, honestly, was probably a choice by the director or Monique instead of Randy). But the blowjob action (which begins with Monique sucking him through the bars) is quite nice, as is the missionary and spoon penetration that follows.

Extras here include three bonus scenes featuring Monique, as well as two others with Nikki Blaze and Deja Blew. There's also a short, 8 ½ minute behind the scenes featurette; a pair of slide shows; and four trailers for other Vivid releases. The video is presented in the full-frame format, with the audio in 2.0 Dolby. Both are fairly average for an adult release.

We'll file this one under "what might have been". There's nothing particularly awful about True Porn Fiction, but there's nothing particularly great, either. It's an average adult release with a lot of average pornographic sex. It's too bad Vivid couldn't come up with a flick deserving of that oh, so hot box cover.
