Deep Inside Janine

Janine is perhaps the most popular actress in adult film who has never done a guy on film...at least if you don't count that home movie she made with Vince Neil. So is it any wonder that one of the first Deep Inside titles that Vivid released onto DVD featured this popular actress?

Deep Inside Janine is filled with 14 scenes of Janine getting nasty with the women. But despite what you may think, this compilation isn't quite all girl-girl action, as at least two segments have guys in them.

The first of these is the third scene of the disc, in which Janine allows a group of guys to surround her and jerk off while watching her play with herself. But true to her lesbian portrayal on film, even here the guys aren't allow to squirt anywhere near her body, and they are to cum on their own hands!

The 12th scene of this comp also features some straight action, as Janine teams up with another girl and Jon Dough. There's no sexual contact between Jon and Janine in this segment, but the other girl does get it doggy style while she is playing with Janine.

The rest of the disc, however, is filled with the all-girl action you expect to see when Janine is involved. There's a nice coupling where she breaks-in a very young looking Asia Carrera, and a really hot segment later on the disc where she gets into a threesome with Kobe Tai and Chasey Lain.

One of my biggest complaints about the disc is that I could not identify almost half of the women who were making out with Janine because (like all their entries so far in the Deep Inside series) Vivid has failed to provide the names of the actresses or the title of the movie as an intro to each scene. If they don't want to put that information on the movie itself, they should at least provide it in the chapter selection area.

One of the really nice things about this disc, however, is that part of the bonus section offers four scenes of Janine's stripping as part of the "Blondage" team with Julia Ann. While the action here is basically R-rated in nature, it was nice of Vivid to add it to the DVD.

Other bonuses include 4 more all-girl scenes, a slide show and the typical chapter selection and website information that you'll find on most adult DVD releases. The video and audio quality on this disc varies, but overall it gets an average rating.

While I have never been an overwealming fan of DVDs that only contain all-girl action (I love watching girls make out, but I want to see a little straight action as well), there's no denying that when it comes to sapphic sex, nobody does it better than Janine. For that reason, Deep Inside Janine comes recommended, and should be a nice addition to any adult fans' collection.

I just love Janine...and Vivid has done no justice to her with their compilation videos at all, until now. After so many disappointments with Janine compilations in the past, I can say that this one was probably my favorite. There are tons of scenes in it, most of which are oral-focused instead of toys, which is a refreshing change for once, since Vivid seems to think that excessive toy cramming is a lesbian video. Janine gets it on with many stars, including Asia Carrera, another one of my favorites.

As for the low parts of this DVD...there are two scenes with guys...why are there guys in a Janine video? That's like having a bowl of corn flakes with coca-cola instead of milk...it just isn't right. One scene features Janine masturbating herself with a dildo, surrounded by a group of guys jerking off. Thanks, but no thanks. That has no place in an all-girl lesbian video. The other scene that features a guy is a three-way, which isn't worth watching since it focuses more on the straight sex than the lesbian sex. No guys in my all-girl features please. The other problem comes from the last few scenes...about three scenes worth of Janine stripping on a stage, and then about 4 or 5 scenes of typical compilation filler footage. Instead of taking up disc space with junk that no one is going to watch, they could've filled it with some of Janine's more famous scenes...typically one or two of her scenes with Jenna Jameson, and some of her Where the Boys Aren't scenes, none of which made it into this video.

Overall, if you love watching Janine doing what she does best, this is the best compilation out there.

This movie is full of clips from many of Janine's movies. There is no storyline, but there are plenty of extras with the DVD. If you're looking for sexual highlights of Janine, this one is for you!
