Young Cassidey

First and foremost, Young Cassidey is a collector's "dream come true". This 2001 Vivid Video production will capture the libidos of Cassidey fans immediately, and, hook those who, until now, were unfamiliar with the dark haired, natural and petite beauty. Vivid, known for it's upscale glossy features and contract stars, appeals primarily to couples. Yet, this particular DVD embodies many elements that will serve both the stroker and gloss gurus alike. Watching Young Cassidey is like taking a virtual walk through surreal museum of porn - with most of the exhibits featuring this particular shining star known as Cassidey.

Always par in the interactive arena, Vivid provides a decent array of options. The main screen, in this case, presents viewers with five primary options. Now this may not sound like much, but it's important to note these options break down further, as I'll explain. Three main chapters, each on their own screen, offer four (one offers five) motion sub-chapters. Each of these feature full sex scenarios from Cassidey's video and film archives. So, ultimately, viewers get about thirteen complete Cassidey sex scenes. Another nice touch... the second and third main screen options: "Vivid Girls Do Dicks" and "Vivid Girls Do Chicks". The titles speak for themselves, but I might add that these sections offer scenes, from various films, featuring Vivid girls of both past and present status. Further, each sub section is labeled as to "what" film the scene was taken from (for example, "A scene from The Zone"). The final two main options include a preview section and web-site info/access.

Normally, my heart is rather discontent with "comps". Young Cassidey is a rare exception. The reasons go back to the aforementioned. Plus, this DVD was edited well, and showcases some of the very best scenes Cassidey has ever performed in. Of course, the graphically and interactively pleasant "extras" add to the overall erotic experience. As if that wasn't enough to impress, one more very noteworthy aspect regarding Cassidey and her scenes; As contract stars go, sometimes limitations are set (no guys or no anal, etc). That is absolutely not the case with Cassidey. Gorgeous and stimulating, this contract star does dicks, chicks, and anal. Her delivery of blowjobs is always exceedingly sloppy with spit, her fucking is never lackluster and her backdoor action is an unusual mesh of fragility with innate (and realistic) passionate submission.

As for particularly notable scenes, three stand out. So, here in capsule form, I'll tease your senses with a few interesting points. 1) Cassidy, wrapped in white ropelights, does her male counterpart upon a pedestal. 2) A four-way chick orgy breaks out with bandana-wearing girl gangbangers, starring Raylene, Dee, Chandler and, of course, Cassidey. 3) Then, the safari feel of Cassidy, decorated with animal-print body paint, subjecting herself to two men in loin clothes.

As nothing in this world is truly perfect, there are a few downsides to Young Cassidey. Though she (Cassidey) is always a good performer, some of the included scenes are bit "mechanical". That, I believe, has more to do with "overdone choreography" than talent disinterest. Similarly, these same couple of scenes also tend to "stretch" a bit too far, with regard to time. Simply put... they drag after a while. A final note about downsides involves the soundtrack and dialogue. At first, the music pumps rhythmically with house-blend beats laced with hip-hop samples - it's better than most. But, unfortunately, the track begins to loop relentlessly through and over many of the sequential sex scenes. Because the scenes are limited to "just the sex", very little dialogue is spoken. However, the verbal displays of ecstacy, that are indeed existent, become drowned by the music.

Aside from those noticeable yet tolerable glitches, Young Cassidey is, in no uncertain terms, one of the best compilations I've ever seen. Furthermore, being one who finds Vivid sometimes a bit too "tame", my tastes were again contested with an equally impressive assortment of sexual acts included therein. Kudos to Vivid and Cassidey for a great sampling of diversity!

In conclusion...

With no reservations, I firmly believe Young Cassidey offers enough diversity to satisfy many audience types. Again, Cassidy fans will want this one for sure. And, even though it's a comp., viewers who find their comfort zone with Vivid features should be pleased with the way this DVD was put together. Done so well, in fact, no storyline is necessary. Strokers... fear not! Young Cassidey is not your typical "mild" porn. There are plenty of oral money shots, coital close-ups, saliva-slopped blowjobs and several instances of sphincter spearing. As a "collector's item", Young Cassidey is truly a DVD worthy of a spot in any pornographic library.
