Backstage Sluts 3

Backstage Sluts 3 has been sitting in my DVD library for a while, but I just now got a chance to check it out. The idea of porn stars doing rock stars got me to pick up the DVD in the first place, but I always figured it would be a let down, so I waited to watch it until more important titles on my shelf had been checked out. Now I wish I would have viewed it earlier, just to let all of you know how much fun it was to watch.

I have to admit I am a little behind on the times when it comes to the popular rock bands, but I'm pretty sure you won't have heard of many of the bands that appear in this video, either. But we start off with Society 1, of which the director himself, Matt Zane is a member. So just like the annoying guy in every band, Matt figures that since it's his movie, he's going to be the one to get the chick, and he takes Mariah in the back of the bus for some hot sex. The action is pretty good here, and the facial that Mariah gets at the end is just incredible. One complaint, though, is that Matt seems to want to make this movie like a rock video, so he uses a lot of quick cuts and special effects. That's fine for the other portions of the film, but he should just let us watch the sex instead of trying to spruce it up with smoke and mirrors.

There's a lot of talk in between the sex in this video...so much that many raincoaters may get upset. But don't reach for your fast forward button just yet...this stuff is interesting! The bands each tell stories of groupie girls on the road, and while some of it may be made up by the guys, most of it seemed like stuff that really happened.

One of the more interesting stories in the DVD involves Ron Jeremy and his run in with the famous rock band N'Sync. Apparently Ron Jeremy was performing somewhere the same weekend N'Sync was in town. Like many celebrities, the band registered at their hotel under a false name...but the name they chose was "Ron Jeremy". Well, Ron was also in the hotel the same weekend, registered under his own name. The result was that Ron was getting phone calls all night from young teenagers thinking N'Sync was on the other end. Yes, sometimes it's good to be a porn star!

Anyway, this true story from Ron leads to a cool fantasy sequence with Ron, Cherry Mirage and another blonde chick in a hotel room. The funniest part of this scene, and the funniest bit I have seen in an adult movie in a long time, has Ron's career accomplishments listing on the screen as he is telling them to the girls. This was particularly funny to me, since I have heard that Mr. Jeremy has never been shy when it comes to talking about himself. It's good to see that Ron is aware of this fact, and has a good sense of humor about it as well. And by the way, Ron's scene with the girls is actually a very good one...and that's saying a lot since the words Hedgehog and sexy don't cross my lips in the same sentence very often.

However, the biggest turn on for me was not watching the pornstars in action, but a few scenes which were taken from real life groupies on the road. They have their faces covered up by a black dot to protect their identity...which basically means when they give blowjobs you can't see what the hell is going on...but damn if it wasn't sexy to watch. I especially liked one girl who told a band member to ease up on the hard doggy action because "my boyfriend will know!"

There's not a lot in the extras category on this disc, although it does have a section where you can look at all the cumshots, or jump to some of the interviews. But as far as bonus material goes, it's a pretty thin DVD. The video and audio vary, and are pretty average, but not bad for a mostly hand-held gonzo production.

I don't know if Matt Zane has plans for future volumes of this series, but I would definitely be interested in seeing more. In fact, a disc with only the hidden videos of band members doing groupies would be a great idea for an amateur gonzo tape...so Matt, if you're listening, let's get the show on the road one more time!
