I've just received my copy of the Masseuse #3 DVD. To my complete shock and disgust, I found that at least 3 1/2 of the sex scenes from the original, full length feature had been cut out. The scenes cut out were:

- Taylor and 2 guys (Billy Glide and Mr. Marcus)
- Taylor and Katie Gold and some guy
- Lanni Lei and Hershel
- 1/2 of the Tia Bella and Jenteal lesbian scene
- (was there another scene with just Melissa and James Bonn? If there was, it was cut out.)

To be fair, the few sex scenes that were on the DVD were totally hot. And there was lots of extras, if you are into that kind of thing. You can decided whether that's worth 24 bucks or whatever you are going to pay for it. At least you can make an informed decision now, unlike me!

One other comment... regarding Roger T. Pipe's reviews. I've enjoyed reading his reviews tremendously and think they are very helpful. However, I think he is doing a disservice here by cut-and-pasting his reviews for the full length feature onto the comment section of the Masseuse #3 DVD section. I purchased the DVD based on his review (of the full length feature) and was deeply disappointed.

One of the best films Vivid has ever released does not get the grand treatment we might have hoped for on DVD. While other companies have either released or are planning to release special editions of some of their bigger features with lots of extras and goodies, Vivid seems to be resting on their laurels. Certainly, no one can argue that Vivid pioneered multi-angle adult product, but the fact is that most discs they release now have only that. Masseuse 3 could have been Vivid's "Criterion" DVD. Instead we get a mediocre digital transfer with sparse extra angles, and the usual pallet of Vivid self-promotion materials. All those Internet promos and "virtual rooms" take up a lot of space that frankly could and should have been used to give this disc a lower compression ratio. Alas.
