30 Love

30 LOVE is a MILF-themed Wicked feature, in which director Brad Armstrong plays a tennis instructor who seems irresistible to his older female pupils. It's not quite an XXX-rated version of the seventies classic mainstream film SHAMPOO, nor is it anywhere close to being as witty or insightful. However, seeing Dyanna Lauren back in action is the main reason why I recommend 30 LOVE. Now in her fabulous forties, this performer attained legendary status for her sexing and acting in BAD WIVES and in multiple volumes of WHERE THE BOYS AREN'T. Her work as a director was a bit less accomplished, and I was sad to see her retire from performing during much of the new millennium.

Luckily for us, Ms. Lauren demonstrates her skills remain intact when seducing Mr. Armstrong in the second scene of 30 LOVE, riding him in reverse-cowgirl and sucking on his cock lovingly after he releases on her face. These two have been matched onscreen in many titles from the past, including a particularly hot affair found in the late Buck Adams's NO MOTIVE. It's therefore no surpise that they are able to recapture their chemistry together in this movie. Their natural affection for one another is almost enough to make me forget the previous scene, where a wet and wild Raquel Devine devours Mr. Armstrong in the shower.

Speaking of Brad Armstrong, it must be hell for this director to have to fuck his cast of hotties onscreen, yet he stays true to his craft by letting Monique Fuentes suck his cock while Rocco Reed bangs her from behind (no visible cumshot from Mr. Armstrong, however). In the very next scene, he bangs Janet Mason on the same tennis court, letting her sucks his cock through the netting and then riding her on the tables and chairs. It may be Dyanna's comeback film, but the director seems to insist on stealing her thunder. However, he does take a break for the climactic orgy scene, where Tony DeSergio and Marco Banderas do what they to please Rayveness, Raquel Devine, Max Mikita and of course Dyanna Lauren. As much as I appreciate all the female figures, it distracts from my full attention to Miss Lauren. I was further disappointed to find that she doesn't reprise her affair with Mr. Armstrong in the final scene. Instead, Diamond Fox retreats with him to a bedroom where they have a "just okay" quickie (distinguished by some tit-fucking prior to the partial cum facial).

Okay, now comes time for my standard bitching regarding most Wicked titles directed or photographed by Mr. Francois Clousot, who often under-lights too many of his movies, or else darkens the footage to shadowy levels where almost nothing seems visible. The scenes with Miss Lauren and with Janet Mason are just too damn murky for my tastes, and frustrate my full enjoyment of these highly anticipated scenes. One might argue that the subdued lighting was necessary in order to flatter the women, but a look at the Behind The Scenes featurette proves to me that such "precautions" were totally unnecessary. Compare the brightly lit footage of Dyanna getting orally splooged by Armstrong in the documentary with similar nighttime images found in the main feature, and tell me which is more arousing.

Two bonus scenes are added to this disc, including what appears to be a deleted blowjob scene by Nikki Rhodes on Guess Who? (which is too bad, because it's a pretty damn good one), as well as a hot moment between Lisa Ann and Chris Johnson from COUGAR HUNTER. The trailers, photo gallery and studio promos are what you usually expect from Wicked.

30 LOVE scores a few points when it comes to erotic quality, but it's a bit of a letdown as a comeback film for the forever lovely Dyanna Lauren. She's great in this movie, but we're denied the opportunity to see her in all her glory. Here's hoping that her next video shows her in a literally brighter light.
