Incoherent as a feature, but the sex is definitely sizzling.

By Nina Blue
This Vivid feature, directed by David Stanley as a vehicle for Tawny Roberts, is more than a bit of a muddle. The main character is ostensibly Meghan, a Texas girl left behind by her LA-loving boyfriend (Evan Stone). Played by Agent Aeon, this turns out to be a non-sex role. So why is she the lead? That's only one of the puzzles. The plot ends up so muddled, it's probably best to play this scene by scene.

Aeon is griping about her missing stud to best friend Nicole Sheridan. Sheridan is preparing to wed real-life lover Voodoo, who crashes the wedding dress fitting to slip in a little action before the big night. The sex starts out energetic, with a great blowjob scene, and steadily gets sillier and sillier. Apparently there are some onlookers, and the couple decides to entertain them. "Pretend we're in a porno!" Nicole screams in her exaggerated accent. The finale has Voodoo's cock getting stuck in Nicole's mouth for some reason.

Judging from the tone of this scene, you might think we're in for a sex farce. But brace yourself.

Evan Stone has found a job in the City of Angels managing a strip club, and he likes auditioning his dancers the old-fashioned way. Holly Hollywood doesn't mind the casting couch; in fact, she's more than happy to go a few rounds riding him cowgirl-style. Her energy is impressive, and this scene makes a lasting impression.

Afterwards, Stone is to sit through a series of odd and silly talent acts.

Tawny Roberts is Stone's assistant; she's assigned to pick up Aeon at the airport. She takes her to a Mexican restaurant, where they run into a cool rock star played by Eric Masterson. Tawny takes him into the bathroom for a long, loving blowjob. Then she lets him do her in doggie before kneeling for a facial. As a clincher, he agrees to play her club. Getting gigs is fun!

Back in the parking lot, it seems Tawny's car is stalled. She pays the mechanic, Chris Cannon, in trade -- in terms of action, this scene is almost a repeat of the last one, beginning with a blowjob and heading toward doggie and reverse cowgirl, then ending in a facial. Neither scene exhibits much chemistry between the participants, unfortunately, though Tawny never fails to make good eye candy; flip a coin to decide which is better.

Aeon and Tawny arrive separately at the club, just in time to witness the blowjob portion of another audition, this time with Stephanie Swift. Aeon runs off in a huff, trailed by Stone. But it turns out Tawny and Stephanie are old friends, and they get thoroughly reacquainted via toe-sucking, carpet-munching, and toys galore.

And that's it for the sex, by the way. The movie itself has a lot more to go, but it's all plot and no action to follow.
Aeon hides from her soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend and bonds with the janitor (played by the director himself) instead during a long rooftop conversation/flirtation. Swift wanders off, and Stone returns to have a big romantic comedy-style fight with Tawny about the nature of men and women, interrupted by yet another girl looking for an audition. Aeon and the janitor go home and watch cartoons together. Tawny and Stone end up in bed together the next morning, the stripper in between them, regret etched on their faces.

Is this a comedy? A tragedy? A farce? Who knows. As a feature, this is a mess. As a collection of sex scenes, however, it's as good as anything Vivid has put out recently. If only this were all sex and no plot! If you're a fan of Tawny, you'll want to check it out anyway. Otherwise, pretend it's a group of vignettes and fast forward through the rest.
