One of Chloe's Best Movies...
For those who follow Vivid's release schedule carefully, you've probably noticed that they often delay features for several years before putting them on the market. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing. Good, because that means Vivid always has some stuff in the "vault" waiting for us - or bad, as in the case of Flicker, because this is a damn good movie that we deserved to see back when it was first made in 2000!
Because no current contract girls appear in the movie, Vivid hasn't gone out of their way to make this DVD look as nice as their other new releases. Instead of getting bios, slide shows, behind the scenes and other bonus material, all viewers get is the option of a "Play" or "Bonus" selection - with the bonus selection going straight to an hour's worth of scenes from other Vivid releases. There are no multiple angles on this title either - although I don't consider that a particularly big loss (I think multiple angles only really work with virtual sex discs).
Despite the lack of "flash" that Vivid has put into this title, as I've already noted, this is a very good movie. Michael J. Cox stars as a lonely guy who spends most of his free time seeing movies that star Chloe, who plays successful star Gloria Madison. Chloe's latest film is a mobster movie, and Michael goes to see it night after night - even fantasizing about Chloe getting it on with her co-star (a gangster played by Kyle Stone).
There's a sexy "popcorn girl" at the theater played by Heaven Leigh who has the hots for Michael, although he's too obsessed with Chloe's movies to notice that he's being hit on. Meanwhile, we get to see Chloe in real-life, whose character is fairly stuck-up and is so mad at her boyfriend for messing around on her that she decides to go out in her limo and pick up the first guy she comes across.
Of course, this being the world of porn, the first guy she meets is Michael - and the two go back to her place for a wild fuck. The next morning, Chloe feels guilty about what she has done, and promptly kicks Michael out of her house.
Michael heads back to the theater that night...but he's no longer interested in Chloe's movies. Instead, he finally pays attention to Heaven Leigh, and the two have a nice encounter right on top of the candy counter in the lobby!
In addition to the sex scenes already mentioned, Flicker features a girl/girl segment in the back of Chloe's limo between Ginger Paige and Tara; as well as a movie theater encounter between the busty Angelica Sin and Rich Handsome.
Fans of either Chloe or Heaven Leigh will want to pick this one up, since it ranks right up there with Chloe's best titles, and may be the best movie Heaven has ever appeared in. Just because it isn't technically a "brand-new" film, don't let Flicker pass you buy...it's worth adding to your collection.
