Amazing Sex Trilogy

Are you ready for something a bit different? Of course you are, but this might not be the kind of "different" you had in mind. The Amazing Sex Trilogy DVD contains three full movies (Dementia, Intense and Notorious) directed by John T. Bone. In the past, Bone has been rather critical about the industry's complacent attitude toward filmmaking; and he's not the only one tired of the same old crap. This need for perpetual innovation is apparent in just about everything he does, and quite welcome in my opinion; even if he happens to overreach from time to time. For those still interested, these three features offer a good glimpse at Bone's unique style and perspective.

From the opening scene of Dementia, I knew this would be an interesting and bizarre journey. The movie begins as a blonde enters the "orgasm room"; a room lined with various latex breasts, penises, vaginas, and giant tongues. This girl goes crazy, slamming herself onto various cocks and rubbing her body all over the heavily textured walls and floor. The room eventually lives up to it's name as the penises ejaculate in unison, coating the girl's body in fake jizz. The next scene features Anabel Chong with a big guy dressed in leather and a transsexual in a dress. If that's not kinky enough, Anabel starts the scene dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz...complete with Toto. The last scene is a nasty four way with Ron Jeremy playing a Dr. Frankenstein role. He enlists his two assistants to help him bring his latest creation (Shyla Foxxx?) to life. Doing so involves plenty of anal action (including a DP and a double anal penetration) not to mention multiple facials.

Intense is certainly the weakest of the three features, but it does have a few memorable moments. Shyla Foxxx begins the movie with a nice three-way with two guys dressed in bondage garb; she takes a rough double vaginal here. Anabel Chong returns in the next scene with Sophia Rio and two more unidentifiable males; this time they're wearing some sort of silver sci-fi suits and black helmets. Sophia takes a double anal and eventually gets into a cum swapping fight with Anabel. Sydnee Steele is up next in a relatively tame but vocal scene. Shyla Foxxx closes out the movie with a mini gangbang. This time she gets hammered by three guys wearing gas masks.

Notorious starts off promising, but never gains much ground past the first scene. Set in a 1950s era living room, the first scene involves a teenage girl getting sodomized on a sofa while her parents sit nearby blankly staring at a television set. At one point this girl rests her head in her "mother's" lap while this Fonzie wannabe is plundering her pooper; the actress playing her mom never even flinches. At the end, the guy cums all over the girl's tits and finally the mother responds: she runs a finger across her daughter's creamed chest and proceeds to sample the spooge as if it were fondue. In her best Mrs. Cleaver voice she says, "Oh, that's nice honey." This is a pretty wacky scene, but it works perfectly. The next scene features a Victorian lady (the extremely underrated Shonna Lynn) getting ravished by a couple of gentlemen in her boudoir. Clocking in at around 25 minutes, this scene is a bit long, but the action is quite good...lots of DP stuff. The final scene has a 1930s gangster motif, but starts off with a girl (Sweety Pie?) with a strap-on screwing a Mephisto-looking guy. If you don't like watching guys getting screwed, stick around for the gangbang that ensues. Ron Jeremy and his thugs DP this girl from beginning to end, and even double up in her ass.

While I was impressed with the amount of content, the quality of the disc is a bit inconsistent. Dementia looks the best because it was mostly shot on film and the transfer looks pretty crisp. However, Intense and Notorious were shot on video and suffer from an inferior transfer. Most of the colors are muted making it look like there's a slight haze over the picture. The audio is anything but grand, but gets the job done for the most part. Given the nearly four hours of content, I wasn't expecting much in the way of extras, but there is a pretty extensive photo gallery covering all three productions.

If you're looking for something a little off-center, then The Amazing Sex Trilogy should fit the bill. The trilogy is full of enough kinky and extreme hardcore content to keep any raincoater satisfied. Overall, Bone comes off as a sort of low-rent version of Gregory Dark. With a bigger budget these movies could have been much better, but considering what he had to work with I can't help being impressed. Furthermore, getting all three movies on one DVD is a little hard to pass up.
