Broad Strokes

Broad Strokes is a 2000 Vivid feature starring Chloe and Farrah that is just now seeing the light of day on DVD. Say what you will about today's glossy and often big-budgeted titles, there's still something about these older, lower-budget endeavors that manage to turn me on. Perhaps it's because performers like Chloe and Farrah seem to actually enjoy having sex on camera, rather than just attempting to give a performance (as so many of today's young starlets seem to be doing).

Ian Daniels (whatever happened to him, anyway?) is the male star here, as a young man who decides to rent an apartment off of Chloe. There's one condition to his new rent - and that's the fact that Chloe uses the place from time to time to sketch erotic pictures...meaning that naked people are posing for her at any given time. Gosh, why can't I find a place like this to rent?

The first sex scene in the movie is between Farrah and Ian as Ian's character shows Farrah his new apartment. They start getting hot and heavy with one another, and eventually go at it - starting with standing doggy and then using a nearby table for missionary. The scene concludes with Ian jerking his jizz onto Farrah's pussy.

Evan Stone plays a novelty salesman who has come over to show Chloe the hottest new items on the market. As always, Evan does a great job with his character, but Chloe is more interested in Evan's real tool than any toys he may have with him. The pairing between these two is particularly hot, and includes some impressive anal as Chloe lies on her back in the pile driver position and Evan slams his rather large dick into her ass.

The next scene has two of Chloe's erotica subjects - Alexandra Quinn and Kyle Stone - making out with each other. It's not a bad scene, but it's probably the weakest one in Broad Strokes. Farrah becomes suspicious that Ian might be getting involved with some of the ladies that are showing up at his new apartment, so she tries to spy on him. However, Chloe thinks that Farrah is one of the nude posers for the day - and before Farrah can't say anything, Chloe has slapped a ball gag onto her mouth and has her bending over to be paddled by Mark Davis! By the time Farrah gets the gag out of her mouth, she's so turned on by Mark that she can't resist having sex with him. For the final scene, Ian and Chloe give into their growing feelings about one another. There's no anal for Chloe in this segment (kind of a disappointment), but she does get doggy, spoon and missionary - concluding with a pop-shot to her lower body.

Frequent purchasers of Vivid product may be surprised to find that not a lot of effort has gone into the bonus portion of this DVD. The main menu gives one only the option of watching the film, or watching five bonus scenes from other Vivid titles - which include scenes featuring Savanna Samson, Dayton, Raylene and Taylor Hayes.
