Wait, so let me get this straight: you're giving me an entire disc - eight scenes! - where the talent is all smoking hot brunettes, my favourite thing in the whole wide world? Well, I guess I can die happy now, as Brunettes: The Darkside 2 basically is as good as it's going to get in my life, what with the ever-dirty Ashley Blue, Vanessa Lane, Paulina James, and Sativa Rose all captured in one place. If you're even remotely like me in your viewing habits, you need to buy this film.

Vanessa Lane and Brandi Lyons are up first, starring with Trent Tesoro. Vanessa has long been a favourite of mine, the cute little yoga student always showing off her flexibility. This one was kind of an interesting scene, where not everyone is working necessarily at the same time. Trent gets some time off as the ladies play with each other and get the toys out. Some very impressive toy work in this one, actually, and that's saying something coming from me, as I tend to hate them in my porn. Some really good anal work in this one as well, with Vanessa ultimately taking a shot on her ass. Good scene.

Tiffany Taylor is up second, working with Richard Kline in a scene that has an odd, though good chemistry throughout. They work well together, but it's as though they're trying not to reveal that they know they're on camera. There's just something slightly amiss about that. This one does get slightly monotonous, and I found it odd how we went from day to night during this scene. I also thought it was a pity that they didn't really take advantage of Tiffany's greatest asset, her amazing eyes, until the money shot. That woman could stare someone down and get him to do whatever she wants. Use that! Still, the body shot in the end was a nice way to cap the scene.

Sativa Rose is another lovely woman, though one who I expected to have more of a mainstream porn career than she's had. Ben English gets the honours here, railing her deliciously in both holes. The only complaint in this scene was how unsteady the camera was from time to time. Most of the time is was very good, though, and it captured the ridiculously huge facial that Sativa takes in the end, laughing all the way.

Ashley Blue is a dirty, dirty girl, and I love her for it. She opens her scene rimming Alaura Eden - not a bad place to be - while she's giving some luscious head to Mark Ashley. The ladies then share head duty, Ashley's engagement ring very prominent on her left hand. I do love that, as it makes porn stars seem more like real people than they're generally portrayed on camera. It also makes sex for pleasure and exploration seem more normal, which I think it needs to be. Both ladies get their assholes absolutely drilled, an absolute pleasure to watch. It's kind of a barren selection of bonus features, though with eight scenes here, I don't know what else you could ask for. As with most compilations, the overall picture quality and directorial style varies quite a bit, but Brunettes: The Darkside 2 is pretty much a must-buy for the fan of the ladies with the darker locks. I hope Fusxion sees this through and opts to collect a third edition, as they get the star power balanced with the down and dirty action just right.
