It Would be Better Without the Premise
I reviewed the second volume of My Stepdaughter Tossed My Salad a little bit ago, so it's nice to get to do the first version. And with Tanner Mayes, Taisa Banx, and Cali Ryder all on one disc giving rimjobs, I'm all about this. I love that rimming is getting to be such a big deal in porn now, as it's one of my main things, and if done in a responsible way, it's all good. I like how directors like Mike Adriano incorporate it in most scenes, and long may that continue. I appreciate that Lethal brings us this, even if they get kind of weird about it from time to time. Once again, Lethal doesn't really help us out with the chapter menu. They only give tiny clips without names for selecting scenes, even though they go on to let us select exactly what they do.
We open with Tanner Mayes, for some reason reading her diary out loud. Okay, one, the diary thing screams to me. Two, no one reads their journal out loud. No one. I like that I know the talent in these films is older, but Lethal really isn't abiding by their claims that the characters being portrayed are over 18. This is really young girl stuff. And they could sell this film without the stepfamily angle (which makes me massively uncomfortable as an analog for ) or really any premise at all. Then Tanner starts taking her clothes off for reasons that escape me, and I really wish this premise weren't taking so long. Then a shower scene. The stepdad wanders in, looking like a cross between a pervert and an alcoholic. And now he's reading the diary. Really, wasn't the last time this was relevant was when the Brady Bunch was in first-run? A lot of my friends have kids, some of whom are getting to be /teenagers. Hell, they post all of their thoughts on Twitter and Facebook. They wouldn't be embarrassed like this. Ah, now we get panty sniffing. Never understood that, honestly. The creepy factor here is making this almost unspeakably unsexy. Remember, sometimes the premise hurts the film instead of helping it. Now we have the uncomfortable talk. This is really hard to watch. Finally they get going, and it's nice to watch Tanner perform. She gets right into it, but the angles don't work too well for seeing what Tanner is actually doing. Doggie style sex is really attractive when Tanner is involved, though the missionary isn't as good. One good sequence here where he's sitting down on her face; that was well captured. A pretty good facial in the end.
Cali Ryder gets the fourth scene on this disc, looking more than a bit too young for my taste the way they have her made up. Also, the backpack is for someone who is, like, ten. Honestly, this isn't any good. Creepy is what it is. And why do they all use the exact same diary? And why is that the thing that they focus on here? This is a terrible, terrible premise. I especially don't like the fact that the stepfather is acting like asslicking is disgusting and can't believe what she's been doing. The slut-shaming thing needs to stop. The fact that they want the girls to be nasty and then act shocked when they're nasty is a societal problem. Cali does a lot of flailing that makes it look like she's massively enjoying herself, but some of the noises need to stop.
Taisa Banx's scene at least looks like someone who is of age. But listening to her talk is painful and IT'S THE SAME FUCKING DIARY AGAIN! The same exact premise again, too. She's kind of mailing in the rimjob, though. She's airmaililng it, really, not getting within a couple of inches of his butthole. Facial in the end, though kind of an odd one.
I mean, it's not a bad film, but I really hope that, with future editions of My Stepdaughter Tossed My Salad, that Lethal will consider deemphasizing the premise, getting rid of that bloody diary, and stopping with the overly young appearance of the female talent. Less creepy would be awesome.
