Syndicated Porn Would be Awesome!

By Oranje
When I've been thinking of all of the parodies that studios could be doing, the original Batman television series was way up there. There's just the perfect cheese factor to it, and Vivid again on the ascent for quality filmmaking, there's no telling how many volumes this parody could ultimately see.

Step one to making this an essential film: Kimberly Kane getting fucked by the Riddler. Anal. Yeah, that pretty well did it for me. For some reason Kimberly wearing a wedding ring really does it for me as well. Both of those things have always been a massive turn-on. Now if we just could have added Kimberly rimming her male co-star, well, the trifecta would have been in play. It's a simple scene, one with lots of oral and lost of fucking. It's well lit, with good attention paid to most of the details. More than anything, though, the director didn't feel the need to do too much with this film. That's what really makes all the difference, just making sure we can take everything in as the talent does what they do best. Kimberly in missionary is absolutely delicious, for either hole getting plugged. Spooning is really excellent as well, and Kimberly manages to pull off the period dress rather smoothly without it taking away from her raw sexuality. Missionary anal while she diddles herself with her left hand - important for us wedding ring watchers - is phenomenal, too, and perhaps the only thing that could have made this scene better was the baby batter adorning Kimberly's face in the end. Of excellent quality, but I like me a facial scene. Tit shot instead, which is fine.

Incidentally, James Deen as Robin is absolutely brilliant here. Full points on the overall casting, as the acting is good enough to make it work, but while still holding onto the appropriate cheese factor. Great cameo by Ron Jeremy working over a woman out a window while the boys are climbing with the bat rope.

Step two to making this an essential film: To the dance club! No, not the dancing, even with appropriately cheesy syndicated television music. Wonderful stuff, this, and even more wonderful is the bootylicious Alexis Texas planting her tasteful derriere on a barstool. Oh well, Batman got by Alexis. Darn. If she'd like to me, that's fine. Especially as Alexis is in the mood to have fun before heading off to wherever the Riddler is. It's not long before Alexis is polishing some pole and Batman - justifiably - enjoys every moment of it. Batman gets to hit Alexis just about every direction you can imagine, with plenty of dick sucking in the interim. Sadly, this isn't one of the very select anal scenes Alexis does, but she does work Batman's cock with her tongue and hands to a messy chin shot.

Hooray! Lexi Belle is Batgirl! Mmm... I was excited, as she had the dark hair like back in the good old days. Alas, and while it's okay, Lexi decides Robin needs some exercise before they really get going with things. A brief interlude, with Randy Spears as the Joker, ensues, with Robin and Lexi wandering what looks like the props department for this film. Hey, look! Tori Black as Catwoman! Yummy. Andi San Dimas and Syren Sexton pleasure our makeup-laden friend, and it's one of those classic two scenes in one bits. This is, however, a scene where not quite everything works, as the director attempts to keep everything in one shot. A bit far away for details, sometimes. Randy blows his load and then, well, it's go time for Lexi. A very strong scene between these two talented performers, though I do wish Lexi would have taken her mask off. Would have helped the appearance of the scene a great deal. As is typical for many Lexi scenes, it's a body shot in the end.

Tori takes on both of our masked superheroes, too, and really I come to the conclusion that the only thing missing from this film is the "Biff" "Boom" type animation during some of the sex scenes. That would have really been the icing on the cake. Otherwise, this is tremendous fun, complete with the requisite cliffhanger. A film that manages to be both fun and hot at the same time... congrats to Vivid on this winner.

Seduction of the Innocent

By Diesel
BATMAN XXX: A PORN PARODY is a lively and lascivious spoof of an old TV show which has become a permanent part of popular American culture. Directed, produced and written by Axel Braun, a man with an excellent track record for porn adaptations, the movie entertains to the same degree that it arouses, and represents his wittiest work to date. The production is first rate, the actresses are uniformly hot and sexy, and the satire succeeds on many levels. It's an easy recommendation for adult fans, a must-see for comic book aficionados, and a must-have for porn collectors. All that is the good news.

The bad news is, you have to plow through the ramblings of a former comic book fan and rabid porn connoisseur in order to finish this review. So if you would rather avoid suffering through an essay which would make the prose of a morbidly obese, self-proclaimed, redheaded, Hollywood stepchild seem downright concise and elegant, then go back to the top of the page, add this item to your Adult DVD Empire shopping cart, and continue with your browsing.

If, on the other hand, you have time to kill, then read on...

The BATMAN series was a hit when it first premiered, yet lasted for only three seasons producing 120 half-hour episodes, along with a feature film. More than thirty years later, its effect on Americana seems to be neverending. The 1989 film was one of the most anticipated blockbusters of that decade, and the most recent cinematic rebirth has been even more successful. But the 1960's series was the what started the whole phenomenon. It introduced a craze which brought the character to the mainstream, albeit in a manner unflattering to fans of the comic book. The TV show was campy, colorful, over-the-top and at times just plain goofy. Die-hard readers who were raised on the "grim and gritty" four-color adventures produced by O'Neil and Adams, Englehart and Rogers, and especially Miller (and Lee), generally look upon the series with disdain and embarrassment. In truth, however, most D.C. superhero comics at the time were every bit as nonsensical as the onscreen adventures of Adam West and Burt Ward. Outrageously costumed villains, gimmicky traps, superficial characterization, and pulpy storylines dominated funny books long before the advent of relevancy and realism.

Director Braun chose wisely in lampooning the TV series instead of the movies. For one thing, the bright and gaudy look of the show is better suited to erotica than the ominous mood and somber backdrop found in the Chris Nolan and Tim Burton flicks (plus, viewers won't be subjected to the costumed nipples and codpieces prominently flaunted by Joel Schumaker's versions). Indeed, BATMAN XXX retains the appearance of 1960's filmmaking, thanks to the flat, high definition videography. Morever, the main characters aren't be bogged down by the psychological baggage of their modern day updates. Bruce Wayne is just a friendly, but horny costumed boyscout, as opposed to being "the goddamn Batman!" Robin is merely a sidekick, and not an overly proud and defiant Nightwing-wannabe. Further, Catwoman is just a hottie with a fetish for pussies, and not an ex-hooker turned secretary who got pushed out of a skyscraper by her boss. Finally, The Joker is just a clown prince of petty crime, and not the sadistic product of a killing joke.

I used to watch BATMAN on a daily basis when it was syndicated on local TV stations. Even at a young age which would make Nora Kuzma blush, I had feelings for Catwoman which were just short of erection-inducing. (I had the same reaction with Batgirl, but for some oddball reason, her theme song was a deal killer.) This character didn't need breast implants, collagen injections or tattoos for sex appeal. As played by Julie Newmar (my preference over Lee Meriwether and Eartha Kitt), Catwoman was a wet-dream come to life. The way she purred her dialogue, moved about with feline finesse and donned that tight black outfit with high heeled boots, were all sensory overload for impressionable viewers like myself. Back then, the closest access we had to porn was issues of TRUE DETECTIVE magazine and Ann-Margaret movies, so watching Catwoman on a weekday afternoon was a real treat.

Like most TV comedies of the sixties, BATMAN always looked like it was filmed on the set of some flashy and tacky musical variety show, with backgrounds made of cardboard and styrofoam, and props straight out of 9th grade woodshop class. Mr. Braun captures that visual style superbly even with (or perhaps as a result of) his obviously modest budget. Even more importantly, the show's peculiar brand of schtick is likewise brought to new life, and for this reason alone, BATMAN XXX shouldn't be missed. Whenever villains are onscreen, the camera goes slightly cockeyed, although this isn't always consistent. Costumed heroes are still scaling horizontal buildings, and Commissioner Gordon (strikingly played by a near body double in the form of Jack English) still has Irish Cop stereotype Chief O' Hara (David Alan) by his side. The red phone under glass in Gordon's office continues to act as Batman's direct line, and that bust of Shakespeare in Wayne Manor still provides special access to the Batcave via the clearly labeled Batpoles.

The opening animation sequence and the graphic sound effects ("Kapow!" and "Zlonk!" are used, but not "Splooge!) are nearly picture perfect. The familiar jazzy music score is astounding in its accuracy, and a slight variation of the universally known music theme (and no, I'm not referring to "Batdance") will have you humming along. The fast-motion speeding away of the Batmobile, the Gotham City sign, celebrity cameo appearances (I guess Ron Jeremy qualifies) and so many other elements contribute to a fun and fascinating viewing experience. More than once did my jaw drop over how well this movie captured the series. The overall effect definitely rises above the cheaper and cheesier characteristics of this production.

Dale Dabone's performance as Batman is simply terrific, and much more restrained than I imagined. He imitates Adam West's distinctive voice and mannerisms without exaggerating them. Likewise, James Deen conveys Robin's youthful and excitable ways, but avoids going too over the top. Like their fictional characters, the two actors have a notable age difference, and therefore fit their roles as guardian and ward very well. The nuances and depth of their performance can be appreciated within the first ten minutes: Bruce and Dick are playing chess in Wayne Manor when The Riddler (played by a scenery-chewing Evan Stone) kidnaps Bruce's girlfriend (played by Kimberly Kane). Deen reacts with a cautious earnestness, while Dabone remains calm, but righteous. When they're called into action by Commissioner Gordon, they effortlessly slip into their heroic roles, with a minimum of mockery or condescension to the subject matter. Good job, guys! (For some insight into how the Batman character might have been mishandled, check out the bonus materials for a wincing look at Nick Manning's wooden - no pun intended - reading for the role, and on the opposite end, Otto Bauer's tongue-in-cheek performance.)

The remaining cast members generally do good work, but Stewart Tain falls completely flat as Alfred. He doesn't even attempt to fake a British accent, and his delivery is nothing but a monotone. Fortunately, he has a limited presence in the movie. Much, much better is Randy Spears as The Joker. His make-up and outfit are first-rate (Randy even sports Cesar Romero's white painted mustache), although he needs to augment his character's maniacal nature a bit, while Evan Stone should bring his Riddler down a notch. Lexi Belle looks beautiful as Batgirl, and fits into her costume far better than Alicia Silverstone ever did. Once viewers get a good look at her, they too will be crooning the Minneapolis Genius's immortal lyrics, "Ooh, yeah! Ooh yeah! I wanna bust that body!" However, Lexi's voice is more suited to that of a barely legal junior college freshman than a librarian and police commissioner's daughter, so her acting suffers a bit (then again, perhaps that part of her disguise...).

It goes without saying that I was deliriously delighted in seeing the one and only Tori Black as the sexiest villain in comics. Her tall, leggy figure, beautiful face, sparkling eyes, long dark hair and complete lack of artificial enhancements (save for a tiny bit of body ink) are everything a Catwoman should be. Despite some limitations in her dramatic acting ability, Tori maintains Catwoman's soft and seductive tones, as well as her smooth and sweeping body language without looking too unnatural. In the vulgar words of Oswald Cobblepot, Tori Black is "just the pussy I been looking for!"

While I have no particular fetishes in my own sex life, there is a perverse thrill in seeing costumed superheroines getting down and dirty on camera. If you have ever attended a comic book or sci-fi convention and gawked at all the Power Girls, Lara Crofts, Scarlett Witches, and Zatannas wandering about, BATMAN XXX may fulfill those dirty little fantasies still lurking in your mind. You'll see Batgirl in her mask greedily sucking on Mr. Deen's cock, and witness Catwoman getting down on all fours and shamelessly showing off her ass. These are visual indulgences which could never have existed back in the days of VHS cassettes when creativity and quality control in porn was at an all-time low. It's no wonder that parodies have become the latest craze of the adult industry.

This two-hour movie has five sex scenes, which is a standard practice for most Axel Braun features, but may disappoint fans who believe that an event like this should offer more than status quo. As arousing as BATMAN XXX is, thanks to some solidly directed pairings and threesomes, I have to state that isolated from the rest of the production, the hardcore doesn't stand out as exceptional. Audiences who have maintained a steady diet of truly remarkable features like FLY GIRLS, THE 8TH DAY, and THROAT: A CAUTIONARY TALE, might find the sex in BATMAN XXX to be more gimmicky than erotic.

Nevertheless, there's plenty to enjoy for even the most discriminating viewer. The first sexual encounter involves Evan Stone doing it with Kimberly Kane while she's locked up in a cell. She blows him in between the bars, and then allows him inside for some hot straight screwing, which is followed by even hotter anal fucking. It's a great opening scene, but ends with a less than thrilling cumshot to her chest. Fortunately, Alexis Texas as Molly is up next, and she almost steals the whole show in her team-up with Mr. Dabone. I last saw Miss Texas as Marilyn Monroe doing Jack Kennedy in what turned out to be the best moments from Braun's last STAR TREK XXX film, and she is equally hot here. It's also obvious that Miss Texas can effortlessly adapt to any outdated fashions, because she looks fantastic in a bouffant hairdo and sixties party dress. Mr. Braun's camera can't seem to get enough of her. Close-ups of her face while blowing the Caped Crusader is every bit as pleasing as the medium shots of her bumping and grinding away on his cock. And when it comes to the climax, Alexis knows how to raise the value of a money shot by playing with and swallowing Dabone's Bat-cum. (Even our otherwise laid-back superhero can't seem to control his excitement as he gasps and pants away while she tastes his load.)

Andy San Dimas and Syren Sexton appear in matching outfits and are appropriately submissive as the Joker's carnal playmates, but the results are definitely lacking. With the exception of a brief dual blowjob, they really don't work together. Instead, one girl takes her turn getting fucked while the other stands by and masturbates unconvincingly. It would have been nice to see Andy sucking off Mr. Spears while Syren works between her legs, or at least some variation thereof, but such a shot never occurs. Heck, they don't even kiss or swap cum at the end. For a threesome featuring this kind of talent, it falls short of even modest expectations.

James Deen does it with Lexi Belle in an enjoyable one-on-one with good reverse cowgirl shots, though we are denied a facial. Yet as previously mentioned, that purple and yellow Batgirl outfit goes a long way in adding erotic value. Finally, Tori Black gets menage a trois-ed by the Dynamic Duo, and of course, Miss Pretty Filthy never disappoints. They strip off her black outfit, and then Robin eats her out and bops her doggy-style while Batman his cock lapped up like a bowl of milk. (It's actually too bad that Tori performs without her cat garb, because in the recently released PORNSTAR SUPERHEROES, Miss Black gets fucked through a convenient opening in her skin-tight costume and the visuals are spectacular.) Our heroes alternate in screwing her throat and pussy, until they release themselves all over her mouth. Always the tease, Catwoman rewards them by setting off a deadly trap, and the audience is asked to tune in, "same Bat-XXX time, same Bat-XXX channel."

I've reviewed so many porn parodies in the last couple of years, that I swear they all come out from one assembly line. (I will officially retire after Pink Lady And Jeff, starring Asa Akira and Asia Carrera in her comeback video, gets a release date.) BATMAN XXX is certainly one of the very best I've seen, but it still follows the same predictable structure of any adult feature, satire or otherwise. Also, I do not expect complex dialogue as written by David Mamet (or even, may the gods help us all, Akiva Goldman), nor do I look for visionary moments on the level of Francis Ford Coppola. Yet I had hoped that BATMAN XXX would go beyond the formula, and avoid some of the characteristics inherent in blue movies, like poor acting by some () cast members, stilted and amateurish camera work on occasions, and a few noticeably awkward moments in dialogue and drama, which could have been reduced by tighter editing. Even another hardcore scene, or extended tease sequence by Batgirl and Catwoman would have made a difference. Your enjoyment of this accomplished parody, therefore, will be directly related to your appreciation of the subject matter, rather than anything inspirationally unique with the director's storytelling.

The extra materials are entertaining, and supplement the main feature nicely. Still, I expected a bit more from a release this prolific (even the boxcover boasts this title as being "The most anticipated XXX parody of the year!) and was discouraged to find all the extras crammed on the same disc. Bonuses include a thirty minute Behind The Scenes documentary highlighted by brief interviews with Misses Black and Texas, as well as a Casting Calls video for the roles of Batman, Riddler and Joker. Also available is a photo slideshow, and a non-sex version of the movie. Quite frankly, I have limited use for a clean edit of BATMAN XXX, though the thirty minute flick could be regarded as a "missing" TV episode. The rest of the materials include trailers for other Vivid flicks, studio promos, and an anti-video piracy public service announcement (which stuck me as a bit smarmy, though accurate and valid).

The video quality is excellent for standard DVD, but I hope that Vivid produces a Blu-ray version soon. The look of this production simply demands a high definition presentation. In addition, as with PORNSTAR SUPERHEROES, this movie might have benefitted from a digital surround soundtrack. Sure, the original TV series was as dynamic sounding as AM radio, but discriminating fans would certainly have appreciated the upgrade.

Whatever complaints I may have about this title are truly compared to the expertly delivered entertainment value and carnal quality. It's obvious that it's all a labor of love for the director and his crew, and the final efforts are worth your attention. Needless to say, I look forward to seeing the further episodes of BATMAN XXX.

Wow! Great Parody! Really.

Parody has come a long way in recent years. This Batman XXX captures perfectly the flavor of the 1950's TV show! High quality wardrobe, Fantastic acting, and even better sex! Great marks all around. An attractive cast with talent. It's been amazing all the great parody stuff coming out recently. It's like a Renaissance of pop culture with a blend of great porn.

HOLY BLOW JOB, BATGIRL!

This was sooo well done, I could not believe it. The casting, the acting (yes there actually was acting) and the sex were all great. It really reminded you of the old TV series in so many ways. I actually hope they do a sequel.

Vivid Has A Hit On Their Hands With Batman XXX!

By Paul Fishbein
Rather than taking on the more serious Batman movies by Christopher Nolan and Tim Burton, director Axel Braun has tackled the 1960s TV classic, and added more camp to the already campy show. And with terrific sex scenes and a bunch of sexy girls, great production values, a game cast and funny script, he has created a post-modern classic of the still young parody genre.

Evan Stone's Riddler, who couldn't have been played better had Frank Gorshin come back from the dead, has Bruce Wayne's fiancé, played by Kimberly Kane. She tries to win her freedom by first sucking Riddler's cock through the bars of her prison cell, followed by a full-on sex scene where Riddler stays completely in character and costume. It's a terrific scene, hot in many ways, with some good hardcore anal sex thrown in.

Batman (Dale DaBone in a career-defining performance) is seduced and by Alexis Texas at a disco, so of course she fucks him into submission, and Robin (James Deen) and Batgirl (blonde cutie Lexi Belle, looking ultra sexy in her costume) must save the Caped Crusader. They decide to infiltrate the Joker's (Randy Spears) hideout; he is in cahoots with Catwoman (Tori Black, hotter than you can imagine in a tight-fitting Catwoman costume) and of course they watch as Joker fucks both Andy San Dimas and Syren Sexton. Turned on by this villainous threesome, Lexi and Deen have an awesome sex scene, with the masked Batgirl sucking Robin's hard cock and having batsex while capes fly and sperm flows onto her pussy.

As DaBone and Kane are brought to the villain's lair for almost certain death, Catwoman helps the good guys escape and capture the Riddler and Joker. Batman and Robin owe her a favor. "She may be evil, Robin, but she still is quite attractive," Batman says. For every fanboy who ever fantasized about fucking Catwoman, a terrific three-way ensues, and Tori does her thing (licking balls while getting fucked) with great energy. That she can look Batman in the eyes with his mask on while getting fucked by Robin and not laugh is a testament to her skills.

Braun has gotten most of the details right, from the animated opening credits to the costumes and makeup. Some of the comic touches are priceless (so we won't ruin them here). For porn, the acting is universally excellent, from Black, Belle and Kane to all the male leads and even Jack English in a non-sex role as Commissioner Gordon. Extremely well directed, Batman XXX: A Porn Parody never forgets that it's a sex movie, but it juts looks and feels so much like the original that it really works on all levels.

Extras not only include an interesting BTS segment, but a non-sex version of the movie and some terrific casting outtakes, where people like Jack Lawrence and Otto Bauer read for parts won by others, plus a segment with Evan Stone reading for the Joker role (obviously he wins the Riddler part).

This is a can't-miss hit that should play for years to come on broadcast and VOD platforms and break some DVD sales records as well.

Axel Braun is pleased to present BATMAN XXX: A PORN PARODY, a spoof on the campy 60's TV show. When The Riddler takes Bruce Wayne's fiancée, Commissioner Gordon calls Batman and Robin to the rescue. But when Batman gets and taken as well, it's up to Robin and Batgirl to untangle the mystery. They soon discover that Catwoman and The Joker are also behind the devilish scheme to get rid of the dynamic duo forever. Will this be the end for the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder?

"Dale DaBone literally became Adam West, turning in one of the most electrifying comeback performances I've ever seen in my 20 years in the industry," stated Braun, "and James Deen was just outstanding as Robin. Tori Black, who plays Catwoman, showed us exactly why she's the reigning Performer of the Year. This girl is so gorgeous and talented, and her sexual energy is just unbelievable."

"Lexi Belle was just fantastic as Batgirl," Braun added, "and Alexis Texas is so flawless that no matter which way you put the camera, you cannot take a bad shot of her. Kimberly Kane has been a favorite of mine for a long time, and here she shines as Bruce Wayne's aristocratic fiancée. And then there's Evan Stone and Randy Spears as The Riddler and The Joker: These guys are simply in a class by themselves. Their performances were nothing short of stellar, and their work ethic and dedication to this project absolutely blew me away."
