Devil's Tail, A

In A DEVIL'S TAIL, the third installment of the "TAIL" Trilogy from director, Bud Lee (following A WITCH'S TAIL and A WOLF'S TAIL) luscious Asia Carrera reprises her role of Jennifer, a romance writer with hidden mystical powers (a sort of pornified "Harry Potter," if you will) who is protected from (most) danger by her guardian wizard (George Kaplan) and a magical wolf. Although I have not had the pleasure of viewing the earlier TAIL installments, if they are anything like A DEVIL'S TAIL, I suspect this trilogy will provide infinitely more hours of personal enjoyment than anything written by J.R.R. Tolkien.

A DEVIL'S TAIL, a 2001 release from Adam & Eve productions, opens with Asia trying to get back to her writing. Asia dutifully authors a scene of lust in the old West which comes to life in the form of the stunning Ava Vincent and her cowboy hero, Dale DaBone. Ava treats Dale to a long, sensual suck and fuck session after he saves her from a surly gunslinger (wow, who knew they had Trojan condoms in the old west?) Although there is nothing particularly sexually distinctive about this scene, it is a supreme treat to watch the amazing Ava, with her perfectly trim, natural figure, give a slow, deliberate BJ and take Dale's fleshy six-shooter in various positions before getting a load man goo in her mouth. Prior to the oral pop-shot, this scene could almost qualify as worthy of couples viewing.

After a successful writing session, Asia is briefly threatened by a computer-generated dinosaur-looking creature before her magic wolf appears to drive it away. George Kaplan, playing Asia's mystical protector, "James," also appears and, in his most convincing Sean Connery voice, reminds Asia about her need to believe in her mystical powers...or something. (James also speaks in a bad rhyming cadence, much like the "Demon" character from DC Comics (for all you comic geeks out there)).

Asia, still unsure about all this magical stuff that seems to happen around her, takes a break to meet with her lecherous literary agent, Joel Lawrence. After Asia rebuffs Joel's clumsy advances, he tells her that she needs to dress sexy for her big meeting with publisher, Nicole Sheridan. Asia dutifully complies and meets Nicole at a grand mansion where male servants stand by in the nude to service her. After some brief chit-chat with Asia, the leggy Nicole excuses herself to partake of the naked Voodoo's available unit before another male servant, Michael Stefano, also enters to pleasure his employer. Nicole trades off some oral favors with her hired help before they both climb on for some prolonged DP action. Nicole gives a fun, very vocal performance as the two guys alternately penetrate both her openings with the precision timing of a couple of V6 engine pistons and pull out in time to release on her face and mouth.

Meanwhile, back at home, Asia is confronted by the sinister Steven St. Croix ("Sebastian"), an evil wizard (or possibly the Devil) who lures her into his magical realm by convincing her that he has been sent by James. Once in Sebastian's domain, he impresses on Asia the need for her to experience pleasure and, to that end, presents her with Randy Spears as a plaything. Asia, looking particularly stunning, is initially shy and hesitant as Randy undresses her, but quickly gives into lust and desire. She eagerly gulps Randy's magic wand, gets some evil tongue between her thighs, and partakes of a superb multi-positional fuck session with Randy releasing his mystic nut juices on her perfect ass.

As a time filler, the action switches back to the real world where Joel manages to seduce a hopeful writer, Kylie Ireland, into a torrid suck and fuck session in his office. Just after Joel releases on Kylie's taut rear end, James magically appears, convincing Joel that everything Asia had been writing about (in previous films I suppose) is true, and recruits him as a warrior to save Asia from Sebastian's clutches (Trust me, this sounds convoluted and goofy (and it is) but it still makes more sense than "The Fellowship of the Ring".)

Back in Sebastian's dimension, he again displays his considerable power to Asia by bringing the characters in a painting to life for a great 4-way sex scene. A naked Nikita Denise, Kristi Myst and Catalina, engage in some 3-way girl-girl tongue and finger action before Chris Cannon (who has apparently won the pussy lottery) gets in on the fun. This segment is outstanding and the girls, all with perfect, trim, smooth, natural bodies are amazing to watch (particularly the vaguely Asian looking Catalina). In fact, this scene could have worked just as well had Chris not gotten involved. Nevertheless, Chris does manage to give the ladies a good penetration and/or licking before they all lie on the floor beneath him, tongues outstretched, to receive his ball juice (The sight of these three knockouts lying next to each other on the floor and lightly tongue kissing each other as Chris works himself to completion from above is a superb visual).

When Sebastian makes his move to capture Asia, James and Joel (who is dressed like Fred Flintstone with a broadsword) arrive to save her. However, Joel is quickly killed by some of Sebastian's sorcery and Asia has to fulfill her mystical potential to revive Joel and destroy Sebastian. With Sebastian gone, Asia and Joel return to the real world where they celebrate with a suck and fuck in Joel's office (I guess some champagne and party streamers wouldn't have been festive enough). Again, Asia gives a sexy, energetic performance, ultimately taking Joel's testicle squeezin's on her flat belly.

All in all, goofy premise aside, A DEVIL'S TAIL is solid adult fun featuring top flight talent and production values. Standout scenes include both Asia Carrera segments and the 3-girl scene with Chris Cannon. The menu feature is also functional yet classy and stylish with multiple chapter stops within each scene. Moreover, a bonus disc comes jam packed with more extra material than you can shake a magic wand at. This includes, but is not limited to, bonus scenes, bloopers, a director interview, trailers, and more. Don't waste your time and money staring at Harry Potter or Frodo Baggins when you can find plenty of real magic between Asia Carrera's legs. A DEVIL'S TAIL certainly got my crystal balls and magic scepter fired up.
