Welcome to another edition of Nina Hartley's on-screen sex ed class. Today's DVD discussion focuses on a lady's want and needs, specifically what a woman likes to do and have done to her during intimate intercourse. Just so you know, not all of the info here is "earth shattering" stuff. In fact, I was aware of some of it before I even perused this DVD. I didn't use it, but I was aware of it! Still, a lot of her advice is informative too. If anything, Nina's teachings will serve notice about the basic rules every man (or woman) should follow when making love to a lady. Her list of "dos & don'ts" is simple, yet quite extensive. That said, I suggest we dive right in and take a look.

But before we move forward, here's a little information prior to viewing this tape. It's just a simple reminder so that all you gentlemen out there will fully appreciate what Nina's talking about in this flick. As much as I don't always like to admit it, every guy (myself included) needs to realize that the "Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma'am!" method just doesn't cut it with your average babe. The quick hit may work for us dick wielding dudes, but the gals are looking for a lot more in regards to lovin'. And if you don't give them what they want, chances are you'll find that, after a while, they're not going to give you what you want and/or need either. Yep, contrary to popular opinion among the male populace, sex is a two-way street, and the ladies want a turn at driving the car!

Nina demonstrates this fact and a few others by using participatory visuals throughout this film. Her "hands on" method always has proven to be highly popular with her students. And it's a successful tool that's used to full effect once again on this DVD. Lusty guest lecturers/performers include Tina Tyler, Ian Daniels, Jewel Valmont and Chris Cannon, all of whom offer some terrific "e-XXX-amples" on this disc of what good sex is all about. To get all of her points across in a clear and concise manner, Nina breaks down the love making basics into three easy-to-follow segments (which, in turn, are broken down into six (6) DVD chapters).

The sub-sections, which discuss everything from foreplay to fucking, are as follows:

1. Lecture & Demonstration Of The Fundamental Principles Of Love Making: The first rule of successful teaching is to do something that will immediately get your audiences attention. Well, Nina does just that with this opening discussion when she gets intimate with her brunette buddy Tina Tyler while Jewel Valmont and Chris Cannon fuck around - and quite conspicuously I might add - in the background. Jewel and Chris, in fact, are so into it, I found myself, at times, watching them more than Nina and Tina. Man, did they generate some heat! No wonder they stripped naked almost from the get go. As for Nina and Tina, they were well dressed for the demonstration. Nina, in particular, looked lovely, wearing a skimpy black negligee that showed off her large, round breasts rather nicely. Now, that we've described the cast, let's discuss what they do during their initial encounter. If you take into account Jewel and Chris' intercourse session in the background, there really is a lot to go over in this clip. For the most part, though, I found this scene to be significant for two reasons: A. It details a woman's sexual abilities, such as their capacity for having multiple orgasms, a talent I'm sure most men wish we'd have. The clip also talks about a female's expectations, such as what they like in regards to petting & kissing, as well as what types of activity get them wet, hot & bothered between their legs. B. It involves a demo of Nina & Tina doing every touchy feels thing under the sun in an attempt to turn one another on. Their efforts result in some very fine moments in front of the camera. Nina's use of lotions and subsequent demo of digital sex (which includes Tina pulling out a life size model of a vagina) is just one example of this. Bear in mind that this opening lecture is kind of long, clocking in at 58 minutes. But the drawn out discussion and demo are necessary for Nina to get as much info out to the viewer as possible. Rest assured, though, it's anything but boring. Once the girls - as well as Ian and Jewel - get going, you'll see it's worth watching. Nina, in particular, gets huge props for her efforts here. Not only does she thoroughly enjoy her work, but she also eagerly interacts with the audience while doing so. Her ability to intertwine info and digital sex really helped to keep me interested. Ah, who am I kidding. I may have been listening to her lascivious lecture, but it was really the finger fucking that turned me on and kept me entertained!

2. Girls Night Home...Or What To Do When You Don't Want To Go Out - Okay, you're a female, it's Friday night, and you don't feel like tearing up the town with your lady friends. So, what's a girl to do? Simple silly, invite one of your gal pals over for an evening of lesbian sex! Or, at least, that's what Nina seems to suggest in this scene when she seriously dykes it out with fellow girl lover Tina Tyler. You name it, and these girls like to do it. There's kissing, beaver and boob licking, and plenty of oral sex stimulation. It's all highlighted by a passionate "69" session on the living room couch. Later, Nina gets to moan "orgasmically" (Not sure if that's a word, but it sounds good so we'll just go with it.) when she sits on Tina's face and gets a tongue probe up her pussy. After Nina's satisfied, she uses a crazy sex toy - a fat pink dildo that straps onto her thigh - to help Tina get off. Very innovative and very exciting to watch! This action packed vignette was my favorite among the girl/girl team ups in this flick.

3. Intimate Negotiations - The final chapter of this titillating tutorial is dedicated to guy/girl relations. Nina, of course, is featured as the ready, willing and able woman in this scene, and Ian Daniels is the lucky, big dicked dude who gets to make love to her. Prior to having sex, the script calls for the couple to go out to dinner. I guess this allows for Nina to play the nice, hard-to-get girl. However, their "date" isn't actually shown on screen. Instead, Nina, as director, chooses to show Ian and herself in her living room shortly after their return from the restaurant. That was a wise directorial move, if I do say so myself! If there's one thing that sends me straight to "Boresville," it's mindless chit chat during dinner. Fortunately, Nina doesn't subject us to any snooze worthy stories here. Nope, it's all action from here on out. The two start by stripping each other down while engaging in various acts of foreplay (i.e. oral, digital sex) before moving on to some invigorating intercourse. First, Nina grinds Ian's gonads while sitting on top of him. Then, she takes it from behind and supine while lying on a bed. Later, they take a break to give one another a sensual massage. Ian, for his part, does some rug munching as well. About the only thing Ian and Nina don't do is engage in ass fucking. Apparently, Nina wanted to save something for her "Guide To Anal Sex" flick. Ultimately, Ian does bang Nina some more until he unleashes his love juices on her stomach and tits to end the scene.

Well, that concludes today's class. Before you break for lunch or beers or sex or whatever, here's a word to the wise to keep Nina's teachings in mind. Her advice definitely is valid and could prove to be the difference if you want to be considered a success in the sack. My guess is that these helpful hints will come in handy down the road. From a DVD perspective: Truth be told, there's not much difference between the picture quality of the tape and the DVD. In fact, if I didn't pop this movie into my disc player, I probably wouldn't have known it wasn't the VHS version. The audio is clear throughout the entire film with no noticeable volume fluctuations. The "extras" are virtually non-existent.
