Third Eye, The

Well, if a DVD has Inari Vachs on the cover, it's got to be great, right? That's always been my expectation whenever I get a new video in which her lovely face and terrific body are spotlighted on the packaging. But it also helps to see Bud Lee's name on the director's credit, because this former actor and former spouse to Hyapatia Lee and Asia Carrera is a truly underrated director who has been putting out quality product for years (just check out CENTERFOLD, LADIES NIGHT OUT and A WOLF'S TAIL). Unfortunately, THE THIRD EYE (which is a reference to anal sex as well as the "hidden" camera work done here) is not one of his better films by a long shot, and disappoints despite the appearances of super sexpots like Monica Mayhem, Adriana Sage, and yes...Inari Vachs.

Inari opens the movie with one of her patented, spectacular blowjobs on Dillion Day, which is captured outdoors for the best lighting possible. Strangely, we are given some prolonged and questionable, but cable-friendly camera angles of the action (non-graphic shots from behind, and footage obscuring any male genitalia). Inari also doesn't quite deliver all the gooey wetness for which her sloppy blowjobs are known, making this scene a slight disappointment despite the anal action but no cum facial.

Better is the threesome which soon follows, featuring Monica Mayhem and Catalina who take their turns blowing Chris Cannon to his dick's content. Catalina then bends over for some standing doggy pumping while she licks at Monica's pussy. Yet all the action is strangely bloodless, with the girls clearly going through the perfunctory motions (this is most evident when they kiss each other with all the warmth and passion of refrigerator motor). The dual cum facial is appreciated, but not enough to save the lackluster scene.

Sexy Adriana Sage is teamed up with Inari for a lusty lesbian session which is largely composed of the two sixty-nining. Uncredited on the box cover, the always sexy April Flowers delivers the best scene in the film, when she gets cozy with Mr. DaBone. The orgasmic facial is the best one seen in this flick, but the post-cum sucking is cut short for some odd reason. What was the editor thinking of? Watching footage of April getting a mouthful of testicular creme rinse is the only true highlight of the movie!

The final scene featuring Mia Smiles is another good moment, but not enough to save the movie. She puts on a staged striptease and masturbation performance before pulling Dale DaBone onstage for a special public show just for him. The Asian cutie also takes a cum facial and this time, the camera lingers long enough for us to watch her play with the splooge drippings in nasty delight.

The Behind The Scenes segment is surprisingly well-made, and gives us a lot of hardcore footage which actually is more interesting outside the context of the film. If you wanted to truncate your viewing time with THE THIRD EYE, then go ahead and play this featurette which will cost you less than minutes of your time. You also get several interviews/bios on Inari, Bud Lee, Monica Mayhem and Catalina. My favorite of which, of course, is the one focusing on Inari Vachs who looks absolutely charming in her glasses. Well-spoken and incredibly cute (actually, she also closely resembles Alicia Silverstone during this segment), she can convert any red-blooded American male into a drooling fan within minutes.

Other extras include a handful of trailers, three scenes excerpted from other Adam & Eve movies, and a 12-minute, semi-interesting "Sex Reel" which is really just a bunch of randomly assembled hardcore segments (presumably from the studio's catalog).

THE THIRD EYE clearly comes in fourth place when it comes to earning your hard-earned porn DVD dollar, but April and Inari completists won't want to do without it.
