Prince The Penetrator

I'm kind of torn with Prince the Penetrator. On the one hand, I want to see a film that is a bit more gender balanced, where we actually know the names of the male talent and it isn't just about what the female talent is willing to do. On the other hand, Prince here makes scenes far too often about himself, with some positions that don't do much other than show off his admittedly excellent physique. So while this is an excellent film, we are left with no doubt just who the star is here, and I'm not sure that's the best direction towards equality in adult film. The main scene in this film is the one with Kagney Linn Karter, and it's the one that leads off. Prince is getting ready in the shower, and I'm amused how much we're avoiding his fun parts in these shots.

It's not like we're not going to see them anyhow, right? Lovely artwork on the wall behind Prince there while he's on the couch. It's a very nice sunset in what looks like oil, done in two canvas panels. I appreciate a good sunset, though I tend to work in pastel. Very nicely done. Oh, and Kagney Linn Karter comes in, interrupting Prince watching the game. She's got something a bit better for him to watch, though. Kagney comes back in after being dismissed in favour of the game wearing something that looks like a pornographic Jazzercise outfit. Very nice to look at, this, and we're off and running. Lots of excellent oral here, though I do wish Kagney would reciprocate on some of the rimming shenanigans. What can I say? It's my thing. I respect Prince, too, as he goes straight for Kagney's ass, giving a doggie reaming that is most impressive, and plenty nice to watch, too. Kagney has such a perfect body. A great spooning anal sequence really shows off that body, too. They get more standard for the rest of the scene, and it's vigourous, sure, but nothing that's really mindblowing. Prince shows he kind of has a thing for feet, and he runs through those positions bragged about on the box cover. Okay, I guess. There is an okay facial in the end of this, but it all just kind of dribbles out. Somebody's been working too many scenes, methinks. The scene with Lily Carter and Tiffany Doll is really something to behold, too, as what would be the tease sequence is basically handled by these two ladies exploring each other. Prince gets up from across the room and gets himself involved rather quickly. He gets a two girl blowjob for his efforts - something that I highly, highly recommend if you haven't yet had the experience. A whole pile of positions follow, and really the lighting seems to get worse in this scene as it goes on. Maybe it's just the close quarters in which this is being shot, but I guess I would have expected more. Good effort from everyone involved. Remy LaCroix is always worth watching, and her scene here is no exception.

In fact, aside from what seemed to be a disappointing scene with Erica Fontes, there is little to complain about aside from some of the marketing and the disturbing text on the back of the box. It's this rhetoric that seems to conflate sex with violence that is the most concern to me as an attitude being spread by the industry. Ultimately, this is a good film that seems to be at once both demonstrating the possibility of some gender equality in porn marketing, while at the same time reinforcing gender stereotypes.

I'm not sure whether that's a step in the right direction or not. But at least this isn't being advertised as interracial with baited breath. That expression has gotten to be really dated really fast, and ideally the idea of "mixing" races will go away in adult entertainment. It's not on offer here, as Prince is identified as male, as strong, and as an excellent performer rather than what colour his skin is. After all, we'd have to classify a fair number of female talent as orange during the current fake tan craze, right?
