Bad Premise, Great Film

By Oranje
This is one of those films where I like the talent on offer, but I rather hate the premise. The stepfamily theme has gained massive traction in the last year or so, and I've seen plenty of writing in the fan universe regretting that it has to be "step."

You know what? I don't want to see become a mainstream concept. There's a lot about our industry that has some appeal to mainstream culture, and I have long been a steady proponent of adult entertainment being made less taboo. Shine the light in on this industry, be honestly sexual with our culture, but also expunge some of the sociopathic elements in adult entertainment. This is working in that opposite direction, and when politicians are lobbying attorneys general about obscenity laws, it is a title like this that will garner support amongst the socially conservative voters. Devils Film knows this, too, as they even have an asterisk on the front of the box pointing out that none of the talent is, in fact, any way related. They know what they are presenting to us is somewhat antisocial, and they're doing their best to mitigate that fact. We can do better than this. Once you ignore the familial aspect, though, this is a good film, as is most of what Devils Film produces. Cleaning up the premise would leave us with a pretty damn good product. Maybe they are concerned that they wouldn't be left with their claim to fame or something. Molly Bennett gets the first scene, opening with a skimpy swimsuit and some really stupid looking sunglasses. Too big, too flat, too popular culture. Between these and the oversized faux nerd glasses, I am well out of step with youth fashion. And I'm fine with that. Here's the stepfather helping to apply oil for sunbathing, and here we go with the sex. Incidentally, as someone in a far northern climate where sunbathing isn't a thing, all I can think of with oiling someone up is that they're being prepared to be cooked. Anywho, it starts with an ass oiling and just goes from there. Really pert breasts on this one, though I wish the sunglasses would come off so she would look less, well, "special." They thankfully move indoors, where the lighting is better and the sunglasses go away. Ladies, please, look to a level of fashion that takes you above cheap molded plastic and whatever a reality television star is wearing. An odd scene unfolds, and one that is kind of awkward with the interactions between these two. Bear in mind that I have the sound off, so I'm not really sure why another guy comes in. I'm going to go ahead and guess stepbrother, though who knows. Maybe not. Either way, a threeway scene unfolds. They're on way, way too bouncy of a bed for the reverse cowgirl, and the camera is in too tight, so Molly is bouncing completely out of the scene with each thrust. Acrobatics, not sex, that. A nice face/chest shot in the end, but this was a scene that was simply handled oddly. I liked the scene with Blake Riley much more, but that's also because she's right down the middle for what I consider hot. Dark hair, light skin, light eyes? Heck yeah. That's a rather unique chair she's in, though I don't think I have the room in my office/study to put that. A shame, as it looks comfy. Think a narrow loveseat that's round instead of rectangular. Pretty cool. There's more talking here than there needs to be, and that just reinforces the premise. Blah. Once they get going, though, this is my favourite scene on the disc. A body I really like on Blake, and I usually like a lady with more curves. Perfect small breasts, ones that fit her body, and she's in great shape, too. Hoping for some future anal scenes from this beauty. A nice facial in the end, so there's that. I hate the premise here, but I rather like most of the action. That puts me in an ethically uncomfortable space, so maybe I'll just leave it by imploring Devils Film to change the premise but keep the hot action. That's all I can do.
