Inheritance, The

Is there anything more enticing than seeing the fresh-faced loveliness of Laure Sainclair on the cover of any Wicked/Marc Dorcel DVD? Well, then how about the supermodel figure of Vicca or the blonde bombshell looks of Anita Blond getting naked and lusty before the cameras? Whatever your reason for making your claim on THE INHERITANCE, I can't think of a more deserving disc to add to any respectable collection of dirty movies with hot babes!

Made in 1996, THE INHERITANCE is actually one of Laure's earlier releases and features her looking just as lovely as a brunette as she did in her later films as a blonde. As the title suggests, the plot centers around a bunch of horny people seeking their share of riches from Vicca's dead husband, including his daughter played by Ms. Sainclair. As luck would have it, Laure inherits such goodies like a night club/brothel, which helps unleash her brewing sexuality and eventually stand up for her inheritance rights. Not since NORMA RAE, ERIN BROCKOVICH and SPICE WORLD has a girl-power been so appealing!

Watching Laure in this video reminds me of the natural appeal and charisma of popular American actresses like Nikki Dial. Truly, Laure Sainclair has what it takes to be an international superstar, but I guess that is no news to Wicked Pictures, since they have released her imported titles to instant success on Adult DVD Empire's bestseller list. As I wrote in a Diesel's Den article celebrating Ms. Sainclair (see THE FRENCH LOVE CONNECTION in the Archives section of this site), everyone of her works is worth getting and this video is no exception.

Before she began doing films for VCA, Vicca appeared in many European productions such as this one. Her tall, supermodel's figure and striking face left prompted me to become an immediate fan, and I was glad to see her in four excellent scenes here, including a opening boy-girl scene and a three-way lesbian party. Having these two together in one film is definitely getting twice the erotic value. As for Ms. Sainclair herself...well, it goes without saying that her superb multiple scenes in this movie were no surprise to me: she looks amazing and performs like the perfect sex kitten. Although she would eventually go blonde in her later movies, Laure looks a bit like Zara Whites younger and equally beautiful sister in some of her scenes. Needless to say, the visuals here are as great as the hardcore.

Looking gorgeous as usual, Vicca is featured in the movie's first sex scene with a gulp and blow of some lucky swarthy European guy who seems as transfixed as we are looking into Vicca's deep green eyes while on the receiving end of a blowjob. He screws her briefly doggy style, and she gets her chin and lips splattered by his cum, which he deliberately avoids kissing when he kneels down to her level. Blonde Bernadette gives viewers a very sexy table top dance while her beau sits on a couch and jacks off (which isn't quite as visually appealing as watching her strip). She also blows and rides him to orgasmic nirvana in a scene which seems to have been edited in a rather choppy fashion for a solidly good, but not exceptional, encounter.

Luckily, lovely Laure is soon introduced in a bedroom scene which perfect epitomizes how sensually alluring she is in almost every scene. The way she wraps her lips around her partner's tool before falling on all fours for some doggy-style action is enough to make you a fan for life. Of course, there are plenty of babes in European porn, but this girl is a true exception. She also looks great just standing around and touching herself while watching others gets screwed in her sex club. She does not partake in the action as I had hoped, but there she has enough scenes in this movie to satisfy fans.

A standout scene involves Vicca and Anita Blonde getting into some lesbian action right before a threesome ensues. Vicca in a black bra, skirt and high heels, and Anita in a latex red dress and red pumps are, once again, visions of loveliness together, and I can't think of a better position to be in than on the receiving end of their tag-team blowjob. It's hard to believe that this lucky bastard gets to tag both of these girls at once! Some things in life just aren't fair...

Laure reappears in a scene with Christophe Clarke who gets to have her in a multitude of positions, including a backdoor entry and a climax all over her face. As the director of this flick, I guess one of the perks of being in charge is the opportunity to sample the star talent. Redheaded Aniko (I assume it's her...identifying the supporting actresses here can be quite a task without more biographical data and an identifying list of credits) shows off some superb oral skills in a straight scene supervised by Laure, who can't resist getting herself off in the process.

A highlight in this consistently hot movie is the lesbian ménage a trois with Vicca, Erika Bella and Laure. Each girl gets a fair share of the giving and receiving action, and the eye candy is sweeter hot caramel on ice cream. Enough said.

The movie ends in a group of one-on-one, trade-off action among all the major players, Vicca opens wide for a double penetration, as does Erika. Laure is initially teamed with a short-haired blonde which is disappointing considering all the harder action going on around her. She and Vicca do some pussy-slamming, but their best moments came naturally in the previous threesome encounter earlier in the film. But make no mistake about it: this is an otherwise fantastic scene and the perfect closer to THE INHERITANCE. Whereas most American features simply fizzle out at the end, our European counterparts try to give a final big bang before the credits roll.

There is, I admit, a general formulaic consistency in all the sex scenes which really doesn't make THE INHERITANCE any more or less erotic than previous Laure Sainclair vehicles. As gorgeous as the women are, you won't see the kind of over the top energy of a Debi Diamond or even Bridgette Kerkove. Actresses like Vicca and Anita Blond generally keep their cool which might not be as appealing to viewers who like to see their porn slut scream and moan in the American fashion. However, I also believe that it is too easy to take studios like Marc Dorcel for granted, and that overly critical fans should not be spoiled just because the Laure Sanclair videos rarely deviate from what is definitely an exceptional standard.

Picture quality is first rate, and the multi-language dialogue is clear and intelligible, though the overdubbing is more than a bit distracting. I have yet to charge Wicked/Marc Dorcel with a valid complaint on how these DVDs are produced. The extras include a standard biography of some of the actresses with a loose English translation for those who can't decipher the Moon Man language we call French, a photo gallery, internet link and a well-divided chapter selection menu. It would have been helpful to have additional biographies on the other women besides Laure, Anita and Vicca (three of the most popular actresses who probably need little introduction), especially since I could have more easily identified them in the body of this review. Once again, this is a complaint.
