Teen Tryouts: Audition 62

Teen Tryouts is one of those series that seems like it's been going forever. It speaks to the legacy Devil's has left over the years, being known for putting out some pretty good porn with women who are relatively new to the industry. This collection, number 62 for crying out loud, keeps that going reasonably well, but it comes down to whether or not you like the talent on hand enough to pick this one up. For me it's a bit iffy, and the bonus scene isn't doing anything to make me change my mind. I don't know what the hell that was that started out the film. No idea. Amanda Tate shows up first, and there just isn't anything here doing it for me. She certainly seems nice enough, but I'm not buying either the performance nor the goods. Not my type, I guess.

I do like how they interspersed bits of the interviews throughout the opening credits. Good-sized facial in the end, too. Tiffany Fox is claiming that she just turned 18 yesterday. She seems like she's maybe not entirely telling the truth. I mean, she pointed out how she tried college, but no. Umm, I admittedly turned 18 during my first year of college, but I was there earlier than I should have been. Is this one of those times I'm supposed to suspend my disbelief? Because she looks like she's lived a whole lot harder than most, especially if she's claiming to be 18. There's just something about her that strikes me as both rough and sad. Also, she's doing weird things with her pussy and keeps squirting throughout. Which is fine, but I don't need the POV squirting bit. Thanks. Carmen Callaway does quite well with her scene, and that's me complimenting a blonde porn star for those of you keeping score at home. Yes, more of this scene just happens to her rather than her really owning it, and there are a couple of camera angles there that are simply bad ideas. I can't even conceive what they were thinking. Also, the interviewer got to be a bit of a tool as well. A good facial at the end here. Audrey Aguilera is certainly a fun little thing. I like that she's a bit more curvy.

She also has some personality that the others don't seem to have. The director kind of fucks up most of these camera angles, though. So many of them are at odd angles. I would just move the camera a few feet or a few degrees for just about each shot. That's frustrating. The bonus scene? Yeah, that just means they pulled something out of their archives from another series. This time it's Mark Wood trying to it to make a scene seem legit. Kaylee Hilton is also trying to be way too immature to be appealing.

She's just kind of annoying me, in fact. The house seems neat, though. I think they need to clean out the gutters. Also, why do they bother having gutters? Does it rain enough there to make it worth it? Devil's seems to need to put a smartphone in the hand of every single woman they want to call a teen. And gum. And knee socks. I'd like some 18-24 actresses who actually act that age. This isn't that. This is kind of a twisted fantasy from who knows where the hell. Meh. I guess I'm thankful that there's a pop shot menu for this one, as so much of the interview portion of each scene was annoying and so many camera angles were blown. Still, it makes it a hard sell to buy an entire film for just those few seconds. To me, at least. Devil's Film does alright. But they aren't a must-buy for me. I pick and choose based on who is starring, and I hope the technical skill stays reasonably high enough, at least so even the good scenes don't start annoying me. My problem is that I couldn't find a scene I liked enough here to call good. I'd hate to think this series has run its course, but if the interviewer keeps being this unlikeable, maybe it's time to hang it up.
