Flesh Hunter 12

You can really tell the porn industry has changed: I haven't seen a two-disc set in some time. Flesh Hunter is a series I had also forgotten a bit about. Volume 12 looks to bring it with a decent cast, but I can't say I'm really in love with it. I think it might be the cast, in fact, that's keeping me from really being all about this one. Not really a fan of Nikki Benz, Alexis Ford, or Dani Daniels. So we'll see if Rachel Starr, Jada Stevens, and Veronica Rodriguez can save this one for me. The music for the menu sounds like a misbehaving hard drive. Anyone who remembers Windows Millennium Edition knows this noise. I don't like the busty blonde cop routine. Because we surely haven't seen this before, right? I also hate hate hate hate hate the mirrored sunglasses.

I hate it when I can't see eyes. Eyes are so important to me. I feel like I can't even see them. So I'm writing off Alexis and Nikki just for that. Let's wander over to Jada's scene, shall we? We're looking up at palm trees for a bit before getting about the worst look at Jada's ass you've ever seen. This is the most unsteady porn camera work I have ever seen. I get that it's supposed to be vaguely creeper, but I think that makes it worse, not better. A very nice ass, of course. Definitely nice looking at her.

They talk for quite a bit, too. Now we're watching her sit on a bike. And walk up some stairs. Okay, we get it. Almost too much teasing here. And now we're doing a stairwell scene. And we're in a car. And now on a balcony. What the fuck is going on here? Okay, we're ultimately on a couch. I guess I can understand that part of it. Really, that was one of the more bizarre tease sequences I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of Mike Adriano's films. Those can get weird. This scene is just a bit odd, too. They both know how to perform, but the chemistry between Jada and Jules simply isn't there. It's like they're both trying to work for the camera and really aren't working on each other. The anal bit is almost mechanical, and the position she's in looks like a massive contortion.

They go back to it after some head, too. Now it's cowgirl anal, which is kind of meh. Not my favourite position either. I'm really not impressed so far. Now Jules is sucking on her toes while fucking her. I hate foot play. Hate. Then some additional anal with very little heat. And he blows his load on his own abdomen. Blah, this should have been way better than it was. Maybe Rachel Starr can fix that. She's almost too much she's so alluring. Almost. I'd still take her with no complaints. A much shorter tease sequence, too. We get more right down to it. Very long blowjob sequence, then dude really wants his tongue up her ass. Again, I can't say I blame him. A bit of oil and in we go. Some impressive standing sex in this scene as well. Nothing as far as anal is concerned, but it's probably my favourite scene on the disc nonetheless. A good face shot that kind of leaks everywhere at the end, too. What do I think? I think some of these scenes were extended to be longer than they needed to be to justify putting this on two discs.

As someone who has done a fair amount of video editing (and a shit ton of editing the writing of others), there were plenty of places where bits could have been trimmed. All six scenes could have been on one disc. I'd almost argue that that would make for a better film. Is it good? Sort of. Better than most films, honestly. But there was enough going on here that could have been far better and wasn't. More than disappointing me, that kind of scares me. If Jules is producing a film that I find more than a little bit meh, I'm worried about the future of porn. And if my tastes have become too demanding.
