Jamie Makes it Work for Me
A point before I begin: the VinceVouyer.com bit at the beginning with Holly Michaels makes her look like a ditz. I've seen her in other stuff, and she didn't seem like a ditz there. Not a good commercial on any level. I don't know if it's apocryphal or not, but there was allegedly a community in California that nearly made water illegal within its borders. What it boils down to is that someone pointed out how dangerous dihydrogen monoxide is if inhaled, etc. Everyone felt kind of dumb when they figured out what that fancy label meant. That's kind of how I feel about the term interracial. It would be like putting on every single hetero film the term intergender. No shit, right? No big deal, right? So why does the porn industry have this outsized obsession about race? And let's be honest, it's really no other combination than black men and white women, with a few exceptions. When you think of it that way, that's an uncomfortable stereotype we're playing into, something that speaks to the social ills of what should be our past. And that's what Black Listed 3 is doing. It lists itself not only with the superfluous "interracial" tag, but it also goes so far as to call itself an epic. We'll see about that. Any film that starts right off with white girl ass shaking probably isn't going to make my favourites list. The intro doesn't make this film any more appealing. Also, the term BBC should not be applied to anything other than the British Broadcasting Corporation. I mean, applying acronyms where they don't need to be is a bit teenage girl, no? Sorry to stick to denotative definitions so much, but grr. Annika Albrite has an alright scene, though the couch they use here makes the positions a bit limited. That's disappointing, since it seems like the talent could have done more. A few of these camera angles are a bit uncomfortable, too, including one that's just about as close as I've ever seen penetration in a porn flick. Let's back that up just a bit. Please? Jamie Jackson gets prominent billing, and she's easily my favourite in this film. Seeing her here has me looking at picking up Curvy Cum Swallowers. That cast list, by the way, looks worthy of the adjective "epic." Great body, and she does seem to enjoy her work. Same problem with the couch, though. Did they take the same couch and move it into a different room? That's really odd. I like the workout wear she has going, and wow are those eyes ever great. Okay, we have another woman here who could convince me to get in front of the camera. I'd enjoy filming that scene. Even if I wasn't paid. Bonus points for the unique way they shot the interview bit, by the way. I like how she wasn't centered, but instead they used the angles well and did a nice job fading between segments. Excellent technique, that. Zoey Portland has a bit of the skinny anonymous blonde thing going on. Not really my thing. She does alright, though. Shay Fox has the Lisa Ann thing going on. I mean, you should like what you see, but it's all just too much. There's something going on either with her eyes or lips that screams too much body work to me, too. Laela Pryce does nice work in her scene. This one's alright. But it's not the kind of scene that really sticks with you. I mean, it's by no means a bad film. Jovan Jordan does an excellent job putting on a good show, and it's generally shot really well. But it's that veneer they put over the top that's a bit tough for me to deal with. I'd say if you can stomach that (and you would be correct in saying I'm probably too sensitive to these things) and the talent on hand looks good to you, I'd say give Black Listed 3 a spin. If not, the talent on hand in this one seems to have done plenty of other excellent films. Just wander on down to the cast list on here and see what strikes your fancy.
