Excellent. Exquisite.
I've done a couple of reviews for EroticaX flicks as of late. I'm liking what I'm seeing, and that's saying something considering I'm an anal fan and I tend to like some pretty hard stuff. Mason does this really well, though. Even still, I approach Eternal Passion Volume 2 with some trepidation: I find that, for most, these films are very couples friendly, but I also have an interest in seeing what ladies are in the film and what they're doing. I'm not a huge fan of either Allie Haze or Dani Daniels, so I'm down to fifty percent at the most right here at the start. So I have my fingers crossed. Is it bad that I forgot, right off the bat, that I had pressed play? Ah well. Dani Daniels starts things off, and it's a shower scene. She's Dani throughout, for better or worse. She's kind of the same in each scene I've seen her in now that I think of it. This scene does suffer from shadows every now and again, but it's not so bad. By the way, if you've read a lot of my reviews in the last year or two, you've noticed I bitch a whole bunch about camera angles, especially the low camera angle syndrome that has infected so many directors. They shoot penetration from the floor, even when it's something like reverse cowgirl, something that's supposed to show off the lady's body. It's. the. entire. point. So I get irritated. That's not a problem here, though, so maybe I'm finding a new favourite studio. That would be neat. Casey Calvert is up second, and the first word that comes to me looking at her is elegant. She's an elegant woman. I like her a lot. Presence. She has presence. They film this one in a beautiful place, too, and she has a lovely gown on. Folks, point blank, this is how it should be done. Couples, this is the perfect scene. I'm blown away by this. Hey, I don't know if anyone at AVN is talking to me right now or not (honestly, that should read if they've ever heard of me), but give this scene some awards next year, okay? And maybe give me some tickets for making the nomination? Thanks. Allie Haze gets the third scene. Meh. It's nicely shot, but I'm not loving it. The pacing is off, and it's, well, kind of sad in a way. I don't process emotion very easily (seriously, that's a thing), so films that are, in some way, dramatic don't do good things to me. But they get it all down. I guess.
Oh, and that last scene? Yeah. Maddy O'Reilly. I shouldn't have to say anything else. In fact, looking at the stack of reviews I'm working on tonight, I see an entire film devoted to her on the docket. Which is a very, very good thing. If you don't know who Maddy is, one, get out from under that rock, and two, get out from under the fucking rock. Starts with food, but not food and sex in that way that can get annoying or gross. Remember kids, whipped cream gets very sticky. Good to start off shower sex, but kind of sucks everywhere else. I love the look on Maddy's face. I'd love to know what it would be like to have her staring at me from six inches away. Yum. This one manages to be scorching hot and completely sensual at the same time. Fuck, how is Mason doing this?
I mean, I've seen previous work, thanks to everything from Elegant Angel, but this is on an entirely different level. I make the case that we need to get porn more mainstream (I think it's better for the industry economically and socially; I want it to be more responsible), and this is a sure route to it. Fight on, Mason. I'll be there to back you up. And if you need someone to star in a scene or two, well, get in touch with me through the good people here at the company... Hey, I can dream, right?
