Lisa Ann's Sexual Divas

Some of you have probably read several of my recent reviews of films from Lisa Ann Productions. Or not. Either way, I've been repeatedly mentioning my disdain for Lisa Ann seeming to mug for the camera throughout her own films. Some of that happens here, as she's in three of the five scenes. That's just too much. Let the other performers you hired actually perform. But more than anything else, I think Lisa Ann only has that one facial expression. The one she has on the box cover. It keeps showing up. And all in all, I'm starting to view all of this self-promotion as kind of sad. Which isn't to say that Sexual Divas is a bad film. But I don't think it's a coincidence that Kortney Kane and Joslyn James have the best scenes, and they're the ones who get to perform without any directorial assistance. I also am a big fan of Kendra Lust, but this scene is simply too busy and doesn't work for me. We open with some washed out shots of each of the stars. Sort of. Kortney's is alright. Of course, Lisa Ann places herself first in the opening credits, doing essentially a full tease sequence with it. Yeah, that's the part that seems a bit sad. Joslyn James gets to do some of her stuff as well, as does Kortney Kane. Kortney is really stunning in this one. Monique Alexander's bit in the credits is all Lisa'd up. Might as well have put them both in the credit for this scene in the opening montage. Hell, we see more of Lisa's face than Monique's. Same thing for Kendra's scene. So what the opening shows me is Lisa making a film starring Lisa, about Lisa, and probably for Lisa. Blah. I want Lisa to recognize that she can direct a film for people other than her fans, that a normal film is in fact possible. Also: Lisa, please shut up when someone else is performing. She talks all through Monique's scene, when she's not the one being penetrated. And these opening credits go on for fucking ever. Is this going to be the whole film? I swear I'm about eight minutes into this. Joslyn gets the opening scene, and she's washed out for the opening bit. Granted, that's intentional, but it's a little bit too bright for some of this. I mean, it's okay, and I find Joslyn much, much more interesting with hair like this. I hate the crawling-over-to-the-man bit that happens here and in far too much porn. Mr. Pete is the one who gets to play, and his tongue is all over her rather quickly. Then the mouth favours are returned, and we're off to some doggie fucking. The washed out background is actually an issue here, as Joslyn's body is disappearing. That's what happens when the iris in the camera is open that far. Great body. They go through a bunch of positions, though why regular cowgirl has gotten so popular lately is beyond me. It gets much longer attention than I ever remember it getting before. I mean, it's penetration with a view of a butthole. And that's all that's on the camera. Good facial in the end. Then it's Lisa's scene. It's a fucking long scene. Kortney gets the third one, and she's incredibly sexy here. And probably everywhere. A longer tease sequence on this one, and the wood background for most of this works really well with her hair. Then we're back to the washed out background. Terrible shadows on this part. Bad choice. And up onto the bed where Manuel is ready to pounce. This one runs much like the first scene otherwise. I mean, I give Lisa Ann credit for the length of her career, for staying involved in porn, and for moving into directing. The problem is she seems to want to direct herself more than anyone else, and for someone like me, who simply doesn't find her attractive, that's a tough thing to ask. Maybe she'll get it out of her system eventually and we can get good, normal films out of her, but that doesn't seem to be in the near future.

The final threesome scene between Johnny Sins, Lisa Ann, and Kendra Lust is amazing. Hands down, Johnny Sins living every man's dream, with 2 of the tightest and hottest bodies in porn.
